Sugar Ray’s — Restaurant in Baltimore

I can honestly say i was presently surprised by the sunday brunch. It was my first time going and i had NO IDEA what to expect nor was i ready for the epic turn up. When me and my crew were arriving at the location we were nervous. But we got in and had an AMAZING time. The food was INCREDIBLE! It was buffet style and every time i went back to get another plate there was at least one new menu item. The DJ and music was on point, even the MC was funny. His set was never dry and he kept us dancing. The crowd was vibrant. I had a good time with my friends and people i didn't know. I would definitely go back, my friend already is thinking of having her birthday party there.

Only 2 complaints. First the included drinks were for sure WEAK. But they are included so I'm not going to harp on that. The venue was small which had its ups and downs. I feel like if i go again I'd have to reserve a table or I'd be screwed and end up...

I should have posted this review months ago, but I’m just getting to it One word: Ghetto. No one speaks. Bartender never looked up from her phone while I was ordering my drink. Although she never looked up at me, her attitude and body language was as if I was bothering her. Went for Sunday brunch, food wasn’t ready when we got there. The mimosas and sangria were so watered down. This was during football season and the Ravens were playing… this is NOT a place to watch the game !!! They have 2 small 32” TVs, which several folks crowded around to watch. Never turned the volume on the TVs, so we couldn’t hear the game. If you’re looking for a hood spot, this is it. If you’re looking for a nice brunch experience, I can’t...

We went for Sunday brunch and reserved a table...Good food and sangria. I recommend getting there early to get the good food as they will run out and not replenish it. I recommend reserving a table because it looked hard to stand and eat (especially if you smoke hookah). The music was great as they played the newest hip hop & r&b.

With that being said...I am not from Baltimore and I absolutely did not like the neighborhood. I most likely will not return based off of the neighborhood. But it's great "ratchet" fun. I would not wear my Sunday best...The atmosphere is sneakers, jeans,...
