Sakura Cafe Carry Out II — Restaurant in Baltimore

first tried ordering every hour, for a few hours, from evening until 11:30 at night... and every call attempt to order is met with "sorry your call cannot be answered."

tried again another day, no problem with them answering and... the food was amazing. better than just good.

tried again today at 8:00 at night ... "your call has been forwarded to an automatic voice messaging system."

tried again at 9 and somebody answered this time. the food that arrived was just good. not bad at all, but solid good.

i guess half the delivery attempts they just don't service you. but if they do, it's tasty food.

i recommend giving this place a shot and note that it does have slightly higher than average price tag for the tasty food. most of the portion sizes are larger than expected, though... not all.

*oh and the delivery fee is 6 bucks.

i'll certainly try one or two more menu items at...

Don’t do it.....I ordered from this placed under the impression it was Sakura's (Steakhouse) and since the rates were so high I didn’t even think about it. After receiving the food it was definitely not.

I spent a little less than $90 on steak hibachi, beef and broccoli, Philadelphia Roll, and 2 extra yum yum sauces.

The hibachi steak was dry, tough, and cut into cubes overtop of soggy rice and vegetables that tasted like they were cooked yesterday.

The beef and broccoli although it was a sizable portion the beef tasted watered down.

The Philadelphia roll was definitely not the Philadelphia roll.

And I was given 2 of 2 types of sauces In similar containers. 2 of them were probably ranch for the salad that came with the meal. However, I could not taste yum yum sauce or ranch.

I didn’t bother sending it back. Let’s just the dog had the most expensive meal...

We decided to give Sakura Cafe II a try after seeing all the different menu options, and were convinced when we saw bubble tea on the menu. We ordered (delivery) the chicken yaki udon, chicken hibachi, dragon roll, shrimp tempura, and a few different drinks - including their matcha green tea bubble tea, taro bubble tea, and cookies and cream milkshakes for the kiddos. The delivery was prompt and the food was clearly packed very thoughtfully. Items that stood out to us were the udon (we couldn’t stop eating it!) and all the drinks - they do bubble tea right! We thought the food was solid and were happy with everything we ordered. Our kids are 6 and 3 and pretty picky eaters, but they enjoyed the udon, shrimp tempura, and shakes (of course).
