Andy Nails — Local services in Baltimore

Went in for a fill. Been coming for a few months. Fills start at $35, after glitter and a stone jewels, the man said $110. ON A FILL. FOR ACRYLIC. How are jewels from amazon costing me an additional $75??!?!?!?!!?! He told me glitter was extra, which was not listed as an extra charge (I’ve NEVER paid extra for glitter anywhere I’ve gone). He did more than what was on the picture provided, and said to me “but you’ve paid $100 before...” what I’ve paid before has NOTHING to do with the set you did TODAY. I know we’re dealing with a pandemic, but lying to your clients and gouging them is NOT how you keep customers. I WILL NOT be returning because of the DISHONESTY of this shop. I went in to get a fill in on short nails and he continually told me what he can't do to my nails . I told him I am 21 and have been getting my nails done every 2 weeks since I was 16 , I obviously know my nails and what you are required to do if im paying you After 1 week I came to get ONE nail redone and he told me it was 2 busy with only 2 people in front of me and I should go somewhere else. I told him that was not a reason to deny me service. After 20 minutes of waiting I left. That was 2 days ago. I come from NEW YORK, where I was going to the same shop since I was 18. I moved here in 2010 and it too me till 2014 to find a great, professional, clean, and respectful nail salon. I LOVE THIS PLACE. It is family owned, there are nail color options as well, as nail and toe technique options that are ALL done well.

I appreciate that Andy and his family is about relationship. So when someone is declined service, it is because they made a professional decision. Not every person should be serviced if they are not respectful or show signs of a problem. Business is business.
