Collington Square Park — Attraction in Baltimore

Collington Square is a lovely little park in the Broadway East neighborhood of Baltimore, where one can look out over the city and get a little respite from all the concrete and asphalt. There is a small playground for children to use, and there are some benches to sit on, under the shade of some large, old trees. There's a basketball court here, too. I get over to the park as often as the weather allows, and I am grateful for its being here. The community center and middle school that are adjacent to the park make it even more pleasant. When school is in session, at recess, one can enjoy the kids playing outside. It's not a park that seems to be used all that much, and that also makes it a nice place. On the downside, the park is not all that well maintained. It's in an historically neglected and red-lined neighborhood, so when trees fall, it can take up to a year for them to be cleared, and sometimes the grass goes unmowed for a few weeks longer than would happen in Patterson Park. Well to start things off my experience at Collington Square Park my grandson works at the school right near the part but my experience there was that his car broke down and it was all because the alternator was bad iFixit of course but just being right there working on the car with very little people around it was quite Pleasant and working condition was pretty fun while it was a little Windy just watching the people go through their daily routines it was just amazing to see the things that was going on I just I wish I had a little more time I would enjoy The Park 2 but as usual but as usual being a workaholic got to go from one to the other but other than that it was a great experience maybe one day I get a little time off go there and enjoy myself sit back you are the atmosphere and the people around thanks Google Maps for getting me there peace and...

It'd be nice if it was better taken care of. Most of the equipment is weak and run down. It could use a cleaning. The swings are are high for me to reach and I'm 5.5. Bruce that they have two play ground options because my son doesnt like bridges. We play there while waiting for the bus which is right across the street.
