Must avoid. Especially if you have kids. Manager acted very rude. She won’t care for customers and more towards impressing some sector by hurting Indians like me. Hard to get parking near by. Place also very small. We ordered masala tea and then papdi chat both were bad in taste. Papdi chat aloo was damn cold. We were around 8 people with two kids of 2 years. My son is of two year old become cranky and cried for 2 mins. For that manager came explicitly told us keep my kid in control as other tables are there (hardly two other customers with another table). Kids are not machines. As a responsible parent we try our best to bring kids calm down earliest. While I was explaining her the same, she said if we guys are not comfortable we can move out and she won’t bother. Shocked by the attitude of the manager we all decided to leave the place and move to different hotel (Initially planned to have full dinner at Tandav restaurant by checking 4.7 rating restaurant) . The man who served was nice, however the manager actions were rude. We visited “Harbour Tandoor” restaurant and had an awesome taste, service and hospitality throughout. Only 2 minutes, my kid become cranky what’s the need for coming and telling explicitly saying take care of kid as other tables and all. If my kid continuously behaved cranky for around 10 mins we understand. Got hurt by the manager behavior. Even very good hospitality from “Kumari Restutant” previous day. We are visitors came on holiday trip and For some time we got frustrated by Tandav Resturant experience. I recommend to avoid and suggest to visit Harbor Tandoor, Kumari restaurant for best food and service. I got disappointed where i visited with great expectation on service and food from Tandav, but I got service with rudeness behavior which made my family and friends of discomfort experience
Any justification from same manager will not help. Thank you for great...
Read moreResponse to Manager comment on review shared by Prabhakar (I am sharing my response here with my another email id as no option to respond to manager comment directly)
Anger is from the manager. Mine is frustrated experience and the response. Manager can’t even able to with stand 2 mins when kid cries in a restaurant. Manager’s duty is to bring the concern if any customer complained or situation out of control. Open challenge on the same is prove by sharing CC TV recording that whether kid cried beyond 2 minutes and also prove any customer complained. Also prove kids were moving around and situation out of control. It’s all lies from the same manager. Real truth is no one complained, kids were sitting on chair , did not move around and cried max 2 mins and no other customers except one table. Also this is my 500 plus hotel visit across world and know the manager responsibility
More than that manager did not request rather manager was commanding (manager did not mention even please word). Last sentence that kids crying I did not order much is a poor statement from manager that she should not make. My kid cried because he needed mobile and we were not letting him use mobile. And its not even 10 minutes passed to order entirely. We ordered starters and planned to order main course and other bit later. When we bring family to hotel, it means we wanted to order for every one.
Any justification from same manager will not help. Thank you for great service manager.
Also there is some one by name "Anil Mathur" commented on my review. Without knowing my experience went through, you cant comment like that. More than that, Anil just wanted to know how you related to the manager. Please stop blindly supporting without understanding the facts of other indian visitors too. Also any feedbacks to be taken...
Read moreWOW!! I don't really expect buffets to blow me away but this was incredible. They had a great assortment which I believe changes up a bit from day to day but all the same they had my favorites. Curry goat, palak paneer, chicken biryani, samosas, pickles and chutney. I tried everything and there wasn't one thing that wasn't knock your socks off good. They do byob which was fun. None of us were big drinkers but there's just something fun about bringing your own so we did. The chai tea (to which we added some coconut rum) was delicious and destroys Starbucks' chai latte. The (probably owner) lady and her son waiting the tables were absolute delights. They brought over some butter chicken that wasn't on the buffet but someone else had requested so they made extra for us to try which was both thoughtful and delicious. We were given a choice between garlic and regular naan (garlic all the way) and were given a generous amount for the table. I should have gotten the lady's name because she was so genuine and sweet it really made it a wonderful all around experience. The cherry (or should I say mango) on top was dessert. They have a mango mousse that was just incredible, I want to eat it every day and twice on Sundays. It was so light and creamy and mangoey I'm getting teary eyed just remembering that sweet ambrosia from heaven. I was so stuffed and happy leaving here. TLDR: Go...
