If you're looking for a corner bar with good food, good drinks, and good vibes this is the place. If you're seeking social arts and crafts, welcome home!

I've been to Meander Art Bar, previously known as Saunter Corner Bar, a few times now; most recently for their grand opening as Meander Art Bar and for their Lunar New Year celebration. Each time I have visited, the food and drinks have been spectacular. Knowing the grand opening was expected to be busy, I was prepared for lines and wait times for food/drinks. Despite the wait, which wasn't that long, my food was freshly cooked (hot) and so dang good. Everyone at my table ordered a burger and we all had the same sentiment after the first bite - "this is a REALLY good burger!" I had a similar experience with food at the Lunar New Year celebration - we ended up ordering everything on the menu - no regrets. Everything was well prepared and incredibly tasty. I haven't stopped thinking about the cilantro cocktail since.

I love that they have reusable art kits on site. I did not use a kit during the opening, I did look at one and things seem pretty straight forward. Your instructions and most of your supplies are in the kit, with a designated area for the items that get used (ex: paper). I observed them being used during the opening as well and it seemed like everyone was having a great time.

The space is a decent size, well decorated, has a cozy-welcoming vibe, and is a great place to get together with your friends; and do arts and crafts. As an arts and crafts person, I am happy this space exists. I am looking forward to the events they have planned (Art Club, Stitch Night, etc) and whatever...

A local place where you can grab a craft cocktail, some delicious food, and also unleash your inner artistic abilities...I'm in love. Welcome Saunter Corner Bar, or soon to be Meander Bar, to the Baltimore community.

If you have a love for arts and crafts and are looking for a great neighborhood hangout, then look no further then Saunter Corner Bar. I recently attended their Art Club Nite where you can bring whatever crafty piece you're working on and mingle with likeminded artistic people, get inspired, and learn some new things. Of course, no experience needed, so bring whatever art ability you have. I grabbed a fig mocktail and an order of some of the best fries I've had in a long while and snagged a table to work on my embroidery. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were really nice. I even met some other creatives that invited me to their table to mingle with them since I was by myself.

I'm happy to have such a creative new hangout in the area. And I look forward to attending many more of Saunter Corner Bar's events or popping in to grab some brunch on...

Update: I’ve had great experiences here, but I wanted to mention that the woman working Friday night was unwelcoming and made the visit feel off. I’ll be back during the week when the man who previously helped me is working.

I had a great experience at this neighborhood spot. The person behind the counter was kind and welcoming, taking the time to answer all my questions even though I already knew what I wanted. It made the whole ordering process feel easy and comfortable. The food was made with care.

What’s also nice is that you can purchase an art project kit there and work on your project while you’re at the spot. Such a great concept! And I’m so glad to see they have busy weekend nights—it’s well deserved. I hope they stick around for a long time. Places like this really make the neighborhood better.

One tiny request: if possible, could they remove the weeds in the sidewalk? They seem to attract mosquitoes, and while it’s a small thing, it would make the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be...

Visited for a Sagamore tasting event around noon. Lunch menu looked straightforward but tasty. I got a bagel/cream cheese + my husband got a sandwich (no sides). His was pricy at $15, but tasted fine. My bagel was good as well. I saw someone else order the bagel with lox + various accoutrements. THAT looked like the way to go. 👉💯 Of note... They must have misplaced our ticket because the food was delayed quite a while. We got it only after I checked in with the staff. They ended up comping part of our check given the extensive delay, so that was really nice of them. The interior has a lot of large tables. Decor is very eclectic and colorful. A ton of stuff to look at. Lots of coloring books and sketchpads available. This seems like an excellent spot to come in and chill alone or with others. I need to try more food to have a good opinion on their kitchen, but I'll def come back for drinks with others. 👍👍👍

Starting with the food, we had a great kahuna burger with fries and the churros for dessert. The burger was great with some really tasty onions on top and a nice balance of the teriyaki on the burger. The churro was also delicious with a nice soft bitter chocolate flavor to the dipping sauce that balanced well with the sweetness of the churro. I love the idea of being able to do arts and crafts while enjoying a drink and some food with friends after work. We could see how lovely it got shortly after the end of the work day and there was even a jewelry class going on while we were there. If you live nearby and aren’t checking this place out every so often you’re missing out!

Such a fun and unique must-do night out spot in Bmore!! Meander is an “art bar” in fells point with a studio like room for doing crafts while also enjoying their food and drinks from the bar to the side. The food and drinks were excellent. The ambiance was also great, and it got more lively as the night went on. The interior is very quirky, and they also have artwork from previous visitors on display. You can get an art kit as one of their “menu” items along with the food and drinks. Had the best time with girlfriends here, looking forward to coming back!
