The Bubble Tea Shop — Restaurant in Bangor Township

First time customer who has been to plenty of coffee shops and this one was an overall detrimental experience despite the great drinks and service.

The entrance is a turn off and made me question the legitimacy of the business before I decided to risk going into the store. It's not welcoming, looks a bit run down, and almost made me leave since the entrance was also confusing.

The inside is also confusing since it echoes when you talk. It seems like it needs some additional furniture or space taken up to address this. It also made me think about why no one sat in in the first place - the exterior design was not welcoming.

The drinks I got though were well priced and rejuvenated my interest and excitement to return. The business owner and his son were running the shop although there appeared to be occasional issues trying to pay and get service in a timely manner.

I would like to return only because the drinks are great, well-priced, and the owner and I had a pleasant conversation since the line was mostly drive thru.

Revitalization is my initial thought and opportunity is my second. Free WiFi and a couple of tables helps it out too for students amd working people like I was during my visit.

Overall decent, would recommend as long as you ignore the entrance, and will return...

The place: Easy to find, kinda echoey inside? There’s limited seating, but the seating that is available is comfy. The temperature inside was nice! There’s a single seater bathroom and a service counter.

The service: It looked like it’s built for one person to work at a time, and I believe that was the case when we stopped by. Service was professional and efficient.

The drinks: The menu has fizzy drinks (made with Sprite), energy drinks, milk teas, lemonades, fruit teas, and specialty coffee drinks. For someone who’s new to bubble tea and maybe unsure what to do with flavor combinations, the menu has a great selection of pre-built options. I had a raspberry lemonade that came with lemon popping pearls and it was so refreshing. Just the right amount of tart, sweet, and texture.

Next time: I’ll have to go with a fizzy drink....

Absolutely fantastic! Amazing atmosphere, boba, and mochi. The employees were very VERY welcoming and friendly! Their service is also very quick! I ended up getting their "strawberry lemonade" and it was amazing! I'm not from Michigan, I'm from Florida and one of the employees told me to compare the boba up here to the boba down in Florida, if I'm being truly honest, the boba from Cei's is wayy better!!
