08/13/2024—Your explanation is totally different from your two waiters. Your discount is not because of green tea. First we paid 16% tip. Your waiter called herself manager and boss. She slammed her calculator on the table loudly. And she didn't look happy. 🫠Thank you. Your waiter told me she was the manager. Then she said she was the boss. And she corrected me. We only paid 16% tip. We didn't pay more than 18%. Then your waiter who called herself manager and boss went to the kitchen and yelled with another boss. Although we didn't understand your language. But. Her yelling and tone were very angry. And your waiter was angry with me. She asked to refund the tip twice. I didn't care the first time. The second time she slapped the tip in front of me. She was very proud. She forced me to fulfill her wish. We ordered green tea without ice. You only gave 3/4 cup of the drink. And the two waiters explained alternately. That's it. Who are you now? It's really ridiculous. You try to blame the discount on green tea. Why don't you treat the guests sincerely. We tipped more than 20% on our first and second visits. We only tipped 16% on the third visit. So you are being rude? We have dinner parties every week. Is it because we don't have enough spending power? We are not worthy of your sincerity. What are you quibbling about? ( 08/12/2024———3rd visit. We ordered thai green tea. No ice. It should be 16oz size. Normal cup. I guess that's the size. Anyway. Whatever. But we got only 12oz. The first waiter explained because we don't want ice. And tell us to ask the second waiter. The second waiter explained because we don't want ice. This is ridiculous. Unreasonable. Chicago, Los Angeles, Florida, etc... This is the only one I've experienced even in this city. Why? What’s happened? How??? What is this operation or Thai tradition? This explanation, in my opinion, does not apply to milk tea or Even Starbucks or other restaurants in the United States. So. What are the traditions and rules of the Thai green tea industry...
Read moreI was there for opening day, in fact I was the first person there. While I am close friends with the owner, I am critical of food so if something isn’t up to my standard I would say something. Here is the good news though, the food was actually really great. I wanted to try a variety of options and so chose the papaya salad, basil stir fry with chicken, and a spicy tuna roll. Oh i should mention that in addition to Thai food, the fusion portion is a full sushi menu! For lunch they offer a pick 2 option where I got the entree and the sushi roll. On to the food: the papaya salad, for those unfamiliar, uses a shredded unripe papaya and is in a sour, salty spicy dressing. The salad was very crunchy as should be and the dressing was balanced. I was asked for my spice level and chose medium. The basil stir fry was different than other locations with their addition of bamboo. Its features a savory brown sauce consisting of oyster sauce as its base. It can be made at varying spice levels as well. The chicken was cooked nicely and not overcooked. For the sushi roll, with spicy tuna, the filling should be very fine with a nice blend of a spicy sauce to bind it. The filling was exactly as it should be. I will need to get some nigiri to fully talk about the sushi rice as ultimately that is what makes sushi su-vinegar shi-rice. It seemed fine texturally but the strong flavor of the filling masked the flavor of the rice. I can report back later. From a decor stand point the walls are adorned with lots of great art of various sites of Thailand and the tables are hand crafted behemoths from Thailand. There is lots of space so large groups can go. Pricing is spot on with other Thai restaurants and I felt the sushi menu in particular was very competitive. Overall a will go back many times and suggest you...
Read moreThis place was a takeover from a previous owner who relocated back to Thailand I heard. The menu is strictly Thai, plus sushi. I loved the previous decor and food. Now the Thai food demo carts are gone from the front but if you never saw the past this is not a demerit. The place is more open now. About a year ago I was not impressed by food quantity. But then, that day I was hangry in the afternoon. My recent experience has changed pleasantly. Quick seating, warm people, excellent food, excellent service. You can ask for extra heat, extra Thai chillies and spices, and extra rice if you need. The sushi is fresh, and delightfully served. They go the extra way to make you feel good, and I am tickled and happy. Place is a keeper, as they say. Give this place business folks if you want quality restaurants near you in this area. Better than many others. I do wish they had a vestibule at the entrance that this strip mall does not offer and not their fault. I do...
