Target — Local services in Barboursville

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. To the lady working self checkout tonight, you not only ruined my visit, but my day as well. I went thru self checkout with my oldest daughter & my 5 yr old (who happens to be autistic) we had quite a few items but I use self checkout everywhere I go because it’s more comfortable for me. My 5 yr old had stuffed a candy into her pocket while I was scanning an item and I immediately remove it from her pocket, she was also wearing a hat she picked up off the racks, I just hadn’t made it to that item with the scanner yet when the lady (staring at me, crossing her arms the whole time) asked in the rudest tone possible, “are you going to scan the hat ma’am” I then decided to ditch the hat, hurry up paying, and leave because if not, this lady was going to get words from me. I don’t go out with my kids alone very often bc of things like this, I also had my 1 yr old with me as well, she was more worried about a 5 yr old putting something in her pocket that cost a $1 (which I corrected her) than she was about anything else. I’ve never felt more embarrassed. So if you see this Karen, I have a job, I have money, probably more than you do working a self checkout at target, & my babies have everything they want and need because we PAY for the items. I find the store below average. Most people say this Target is amazing, but 9/10 that person has only been to this Target and this is the only Target close. There's no produce, no café, no mini pizza hut. Just Starbucks that usually has a huge line or the employee is on their phones sitting on counters. They still sale their popcorn and slushees sort of, the slushee machines usually down and popcorn usually available if at all only in the mornings. The store has very little registers and sometimes none of them are open. The market area is very limited, but it is neatly straightened. The beauty is a big cluster, its nice products just a very horrible layout. Anways to cut this review shorter I only recommend this Target for clothes shopping, their sections are plum full of trendy up to date comfortable clothings. I'm ify with this store so i do and don't recommend its solely your call. I just personally wouldn't choose it. Go to a different city or even Charleston and you'll see what I mean by its...

Three out of the last three times I’ve visited this Target the prices at checkout have been different from the prices on display.

I now take pictures of each item I buy there just to show them in case there are any discrepancies at checkout. There is always, inevitably, at least one.

This is a pretty crucial thing to get right. Fix this, now.

I don’t want to put something in my cart thinking it’s one price only to find out it costs more once I’m checking out.

Fix it. Be consistent. We can’t label your products’ prices for you.

Tighten up.

I can’t imagine how many people do not look at each item’s price as they ring up at check out. I can’t imagine how many people have unknowingly lost money due to this inconsistency.
