It's nice to have a new restaurant in town. It's about 1.5 miles away from the campground which was very convenient. All the food was great. Grilled cheese and fries; slaw burger and fries, and the Philly cheese steak sandwich which was extremely tender along with hush puppies. Of course had to get banana pudding for desert which to die for. It taste more like creme Brule with bananas. It was delicious. Service was absolutely amazing. Very attentive server. Pointers: 1) slaw on the burger does have the old Suzy Q feeling but with the banana peppers it gives a twist on the taste. 2) Food is served in a basket 3) The serving of banana pudding is large and very rich. Be sure to save room. 4) Bill came to fifty dollars not including tip. 5) They accept amex 6) Nice atmosphere Suggestions: 1) Needs more slaw on the burger 2) food served on plates would be a nice addition

I took my grandfather to Cecilias bar and grill for his Birthday 🎈🎂. The staff were amazing and kind. Great conversations with fellow patrons. The young man waiting on us was very respectful. He suggested the catfish. We took him up on it. The fish was amazing. Great seasoning. Large selection of adult beverages. The owner was proud of the history of the building and his enthusiasm was great. They have a wall of pictures of the history of the building. Only negative was they were out of their famous banana pudding. Gives us a reason to come back. Don't hesitate to give this place a try.

An absolutely delightful experience on a calm Sunday afternoon. While the other places were filled up I was well surprised to find this delightful and comfortable grill and bar nearby. I highly suggest the Eggin Around Burger. It's perfectly cooked, moist meat paired with the egg is an absolute delight and really should be one of the highlights of their menu!!! Their waffles are so soft and fluffy and simply to die for. If I lived closer, I would be here at least once a week!! I can't wait to come back by and try out other popular menu items. 🩵

My wife, daughter, and I arrived around 7:45 pm on Friday night for dinner. When we walked in, we were not greeted. We waited for a minute for them to get us a table even though there were only 4 other parties in the main dining room. They appeared to be scrambling to get us a table for whatever reason. One of the workers pointed at a table in the back and told us to go sit over there. They did not walk us to our table, but when we asked for a high chair for our daughter they brought us one. Nobody ever came to greet us or ask us what we wanted to drink. As we were waiting, more people came in to join a group of people who were already in there dining. They were immediately asked for their drink order and they ordered appetizers. We sat at our table for over 10 minutes (we timed it, so I’m not over exaggerating) and no one ever came over. I had to go to the bar area and get somebody to come to the table. A young boy waited on us and was somewhat friendly. Our food came out fairly quick. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak and fried chicken with sides of baked beans, green beans, mashed potatoes, and Mac and cheese. My wife’s Mac and cheese did not come, so we kindly asked if we could have that brought out. The food was just okay, definitely not as good as everyone was saying when we read reviews. The baked beans and green beans tasted like they were from a can. The philly had no peppers in it and was served in a small paper sandwich holder (not even on a real plate, which made it get soggy quick). As we are eating, the large group started playing music very loudly. It blared the entire time we ate dinner. Some of the music was not appropriate for our daughter either. We were checked on once for refills, but never asked how anything was or if we needed anything. We had finished our meal and were done with the music playing, so we just decided to forget about the Mac and cheese because it never came. We never even got the bill or asked if we needed a box. I just wrapped my leftover chicken in a napkin and went to the counter to pay because I didn’t want to keep waiting. The lack of friendliness, service, and food quality will prevent us from returning I’m sad to say. If there was a special event or something and we didn’t need to be there, then they could have told us and we would have went...

The food tasted like high school or hospital cafeteria food, on a good day. My husband ordered sirloin medium, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. Immediately upon service the mashed potatoes were cold and he asked for them to be reheated before he cut into his sirloin. As the server took the mashed potatoes to be microwaved, he cut into a steak that was supposed to be "medium" but was obviously Well Done. The server came back with the microwaved mashed potatoes and some worschestershire sauce for my husbands steak, he showed her his steak which was clearly overcooked, she offered to have the kitchen remake it, but he declined as we had time constraints, only asked that the cook be informed of the poor cook and service of over done steak with cold mashed potatoes. I ordered a cheese burger and fries, which is what I based my opinion that it tasted like Hospital Cafeteria food. I also tasted my husbands macaroni and cheese, at his request. He said it was warm, but wanted my opinion of the flavor; unfortunately I've had better macaroni and cheese from many various cafeterias and buffets. Not sure what the secret ingredient is, but it should have been kept a secret. The server offered to replace the food with new and different menu items, but everything was so gross we didn't really expect to get...

Wanted to try something new, regretted it. Ordered fried pickles that no one could stomach. The pickle was completely dehydrated, it was so salty it burnt my lips and they brought 2 orders instead of 1, still had to pay for it. They do not have draft beer, which is fine but the waiter said they did, then brought bottles- had to pay for that. The chair gave out on my father towards the end of the meal, and we waited over an hour for our meals to come out. Only Ranch dressing available. The fish was decent, just super thin and tasted like all the other fried stuff. None of this would've been an issue because I thought it would be reasonably priced but somehow, the bill was 150$- 185 after tip. That's the moment we decided to never return- we could've had grade A food and much better service for that price anywhere else. My stomach is still churning today- the food has a homemade feel- but its more of a "straight out of the can" type, or "lets see what we can cook before it goes bad" type homemade. I gave 2 stars for service because it may have been the waiter's first table in his life and we want to support any youth in their first job. Thanks but no thanks- we didn't really feel welcomed there anyway. (only 1 other...
