I go to hook up cable at my new house and schedule an appointment for them to come out to hook up for Friday. I then call Bardstown Internet Service (I am assuming an affiliate now of City of Bardstown Cable) and tell them that I have set up my cable to be hooked up Friday to which they say "we will just do it when they do". I get home friday and there is a tag saying they needed to reschedule and to call city hall. OF COURSE they are closed by then and I am stuck the weekend with no cable. I call Monday and the lady said they hooked it up at the pole but they could not do internet bc they needed access to the house. SOOOO I call the internet service and they say you have to schedule 3 days in advance and since I am only off wednesday it would be the following wednesday bc guess what...THEY DONT COUNT THE DAY YOU CALL! Now I am not able to hook the cable up from the pole to my house until my day off which was yesterday and of course nothing is working. I call to find out why it was not working at which point I am told that they didnt bother to hook up the cable while they were there bc the internet could not be hooked up at the same time so they are just waiting until the internet gets hooked up...NO ON UNDERSTOOD MY FRUSTRATION THAT I DID NOT GET MY CABLE FROM THE INTERNET COMPANY BUT FROM THE CITY OF BARDSTOWN AND THEY DECIDED THAT SINCE THE OTHER COMPANY WAS NOT GOING TO DO THEIRS FOR ANOTHER WEEK AND A HALF THAT THEY WOULD DO NOTHING WHILE THEY WERE THEREAND THEN WHEN I CALL THEY LIE TO ME SAYING IT WAS HOOKED UP AT THE POLE!...SOOOO bc of the "three day policy" I get to wait until next Wednesday to get BOTH services which even though I purchased separately and even though it is possible to hook cable up without hooking up internet service...HORRIBLE SERVICE AND POOR COMMUNICATION NOT ONLY WITH THE CUSTOMER BUT WITH EACH OTHER! When I recommended that in the future they have their front desk reps let customers know that if they have internet and cable that they need to be at home she said "they are trained only to set up cable and not both, the internet provider should have told you that not our people" BUT YOUR PEOPLE SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOUR SERVICES AND JUST DECIDED NOT TO DO IT BECAUSE IT WAS MORE CONVENIENT TO DO IT TOGETHER!!!! No wonder people choose to go...
I pay for 100mb and the most I can recieve is low 30's at the most. This is at any time of day or night. They said it was my modem and router, and I should bring it in. I did that and they said it was good. NOTHING FURTHER WAS DONE TO RESOLVE MY ISSUES. They did not send a tech to my house, nor did they swap out my equipment. My internet constantly goes out. It is out right now and I tried to get ahold of them and what do you know, NO ANSWER! Trust me and save yourself the headache and find a different internet company.

Once again my internet service is out. The last time which was about a week ago was out for about a day and a half. Now it is out again for who knows how long. Also I am supposed to be getting 200mps and I have never been but maybe to the 40's since last review. I have called and asked for help, I have taken my modem and router up to them to test it SEVERAL times, then out the door they push me. I am relying on this internet to be up and running so that my wife can work from home. Every time this internet goes out, she has to call into her work and explain why she is not working. And these are not excused. This counts against her. Never have they sent a technician to my house or heck even out to look at the poles/lines outside. I will be looking for a different company for internet. One that will be happy to work with me while they take my money. I have never been in and out of service this much in my life. I should have read the reviews about this company before I started giving them my money. This is not the only times I have been out of service. I have been out MULTIPLE TIMES......
Internet is out AGAIN!!!!! COUNTLESS TIMES BEFORE THIS ONE ALSO.... STILL SLOW WHEN IT IS ON!!!!! PAYING FOR 200MB AND NOT GETTING ANYTHING NEAR THAT!!!!!
Internet is out AGAIN!!! It seems like I pay this company to keep my internet off instead of on. Getting really old really fast!!!!

My internet has gone in and out three times so far today and it is only 2:30pm. How many more can we get before the day is up? Not too much longer and I am switching companies. This is absolutely ridiculous.

   Read moreI’ve been with Jeff & the crew from their very beginning. I believe I’m one of their 1st customers. I read a lot of the reviews by others & they seem pretty harsh. I tried AT&T unversed once, it was really terrible. Are there outages? Yes. Most are fixed by resetting the router & modem. Occasionally they have had a problem down the line. Usually, this affects all cable internet in our county. Is satellite better? According to my son who has Musk’s internet, not much more reliable & costs tons more. I’ve gotten upset a few times but it didn’t solve anything. I guess I accept that we live in a rural county in KY & I enjoy that, but every once in a while there are downsides. Chill out & give them a break. I’m sure, because I’ve been with them forever, they are working hard to get the service back up again. My only complaint & I’ve shared this is that when they have a real outage they find a way to get it up on their website. Just to let us know it’s on their end & not mine. Right now they’re completely down. No phone, no website & of course no internet. I’m sure they are frantic & doing their best to get everything going again. Good luck guys! You are appreciated, just sometimes we forget...
