My son and husband had stopped here for lunch while on a work trip. Let me tell you, my son could NOT stop talking about the burger he had here and how next time we were all down in Kentucky that we should stop. We stopped here Monday, Jan 24th on the way back home from Florida.

I have eaten burgers from literal coast to coast, almost all 50 states and The Bardstown Burger was THE BEST burger I have EVER had!

The bun was buttery, grilled and soft. I don't know what kind of bread it was other than heaven sent. The burger patty was seasoned to perfection with crispy edges and not dry at all. The mushrooms and caramelized onions were incredible. Not too mushy and not under cooked. Just the right amount of bacon and cheddar. I thought it might be a mistake to order this burger since I was driving but no, I only dropped a few onions and mushrooms on myself lol (I couldn't allow any of it to hit the floor!) My fries were seasoned well and were so fresh! Crinkle cuts are my favorite! Way to treat potatoes like the royalty they are! I will absolutely be back through here any time I'm headed south or back home! The menu is small but definitely doesn't need to be any bigger or I feel you'd miss out on the important things like, flavor and quality. The establishment itself is quiant and in old downtown. It has that hometown feeling and the staff was very friendly and helpful! 10 out of 10...

OMGosh !!! I've eaten here 3 times in the last months & I don't know where Bardstown Burger's is procuring their meat but it is the softest, freshest & most flavorful burgers in all of Bardstown !! Now be aware it can be a bit pricey but they say you get what you pay for & in this case it hits the nail on the head. The crinkle cut fries are excellent but the small basket could be twice the size for a better value & the shakes also have a great taste as well. The establishment is very clean & the staff is always fun & friendly. I have high standards & I highly recommend this quaint little burger restaurant,...you won't be disappointed !

1 Year Review: Nothing has changed about my original review EXCEPT the management must be reading reviews because the basket of fries is a lot larger now & the perfect size.

Personally I don't know the owners or any workers at this restaurant BUT if you're seeing a negative review about petty issues...you can chalk that up to how truly unhappy & difficult...

Came here with my family and spent nearly $40. Ask for 3 waters yet the girl operating the register charged me $2.75 for a drink and handed 1 cup. When I brought it to her attention she NO said you orded a bottled water, and we do not give free water. First, if I order bottled water then why would she give me a cup??? The owner came over, Elliot Hurst, but instead of refunding me for the drink he refunds my full order and asks me to leave. I was SHOCKED!! Second, why would I only order 1 drink for 3 orders when it's close to 90 degrees outside ? I asked why he was issuing a refund he said because he does not serve difficult people. I was treated like DIRT and as if I was a freeloader trying to get something for nothing when I paid for 3 burgers, 1 fry and 2 onion rings.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!! AVOID THE BARDSTOWN BURGER COMPANY AT ALL COSTS WHEN YOU VISIT HISTORIC BARDSTOWN!!

MCDONALDS IS BETTER AND THAT'S NOT...

Went to Bardstown Burgers with the fam. Got a sweet hat. Fries had this lovely light crisp to them. I’ve never experienced that with fries before. I loved them. Onion rings solid. But disappointed they had a prepackaged ranch that I didn’t care for instead of a house made ranch. I feel like that is a fumble. This is about the only complaint I have. Buttttt to their credit, they are banging out all this wonderful food and keeping up with the crowd out of a little tiny closet of a kitchen with HOME KITCHEN APPLIANCES!!! I am quite impressed with that. And now the best for last. The burger. We came from Etown just to try the burger because their reputation spreads at least this far. And it lived up to the hype. (I’m looking at you, Laha’s!) I’ve had a lot of burgers and can say this is in the top 5 for sure. Highly recommend.

One of the few restaurants open on a Monday. Located in downtown Bardstown , not too far from the distilleries. A small no frills burger joint serving Build Your own burgers, chicken sandwiches,BLT,a grilled cheese and a Veggie burger. I tried The Outlaw which was a burger topped with onion rings, bacon, cheddar and BBQ sauce. It was fantastic! My wife had the Spicy Chicken with Pepper Jack, bacon and Spicey Mayo. We shared a basket of fries with a cheese cup. Do not forget the cheese...amazing! Reasonable priced .Beer, soft drinks and milk shakes available. Limited seating inside but they do have a small outdoor patio in the back. While doing the Bourbon Trail, stop in for a quick bite to eat..you will not be disappointed.

I the girl bringing us out order to us was even sweeter!! The burgers were great and onion rings so crispy dinner of the best I've had ever!! I had the spicy burger which was great!! My wife just had a burger with everything that was great also!! We're picky foodies we want to go back already! Everybody in the back room were first timers, and they were all raving about how good this place was!! I agree one of the best burger places I've been to. The fries looked great too!
