Well I guess it depends on who serves you here. The guy that served me was either new or just didn’t care! I saw they had light roast Guatemala beans so I asked if the do pour overs and he said yes but it will take 15 minutes!! I was a bit shocked 😳 and said really! So I asked what beans they have to choose from and all they had was a dark mix! Yuck!! So I decided to go with a Latte I asked for it to be light hot and he said so you just want me to pour cold milk in it What!!?? Anyway the coffee was cold and it tasted like milk. Read moreI went with my mother on a day of shopping, and despite living just outside of Bardstown most of my life, had never walked down this street. We decided to go in and try, and were not disappointed. I've been searching for a quaint cafe to sit and write in but hadn't found one until we walked in here. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was so wonderful. I will definitely be back, and it will likely become my regular spot while I work on books. Read moreNice place!! But.. the espresso is a 0/10. Horrible. It tasted like drip coffee with absolutely no crema. Super acidic and very thin. I don’t mean to sound harsh, but they need to work on dialing in their grind and timing (and consider using beans intended for espresso). Maybe mine was a fluke.. but they have way too nice of an espresso machine to be pulling nasty shots.
To be fair, the place has a very nice environment. The staff are friendly, and the regular coffee is pretty good.
