Ching Garden — Restaurant in Bargersville

The food was excellent, but we had an issue with side items missing from our large order and we spent 20+ minutes back and forth on the phone (got hung up on once but will assume it was a misunderstanding) being argued with about the missing items! We ordered several meals - $100 worth of food - and got so much pushback about a couple missing egg rolls! It was so bizarre. We drove back after finally being told they’d rectify the issue and when we walked in, the person at the counter said “I thought they explained this to you, you weren’t missing anything?” Sigh. Some kind of drop in the communication on their end, but WHY are we STILL arguing about this? The gentleman at the counter did, reluctantly, give us the stupid egg rolls, but not without SO much attitude LOL. We got out to the car and quickly checked this time (duh) and lo and behold, he gave us 2 of our missing 6 egg rolls and an unnecessary (but ok?) bag of spring rolls! At this point, we were bemused and done with this interaction. The whole thing was just so silly and unnecessary and honestly, their absolute need to be so hostile and argumentative about $6ish worth of egg rolls made me want the stupid...

They reminds me of the cheap Chinese food I got when I lived in college dorm.

Beer cans opened, pizza cases all over, stepping on each other's smelly bodies, and this is the Chinese food you order with a gigantic hangover.

It's oily, but not extremely greasy. It's meaty, but not expensive. You talk to them in Chinese and pay in cash, they give you the secret menu and tell you how they migrated here when they were 17. Sometimes, during national holidays such as Moon festival, if you are nice enough and tell some good jokes, they even give you the moon pie for free. Moon pie always tastes funky but that's the joint memory of all Chinese people.

Anyways, come here and order food if you want to support small business owners and hard working people. Their food is totally worth you $$$. Try to leave some tips or pay with cash because then they don't have to pay the credit card fees..

PS: U seen uncle roger and commenting on Wang Gang's cooking? They aren't as good but their vibes...

I realize after the first time. I eat here out of desperation because Chinese sounds good. This is approx the 6th time I've gotten take out from here. Unfortunately, I am disappointed once again. Thinking how bad can it be.

Exceptional egg roll. All else leaves much to be desired. I've actually ordered two different items that taste the same.

And never have they been friendly or welcoming. It's as though It is an inconvenience for them to have you there.

The difference between $6 and $9 is the hour hand on the clock. You get the exact same dinner combination serving as you do for lunch and only...
