Let me just start off by saying I'm from Chicago Illinois so having a place to eat food this great in Indiana is a blessing. The best thing about Chicago is the food and city. I'm going to say the food was really good hit me at home, it was wonderful. I would give the food a 5 star no problem but the service on the other hand was completely horrible. I would give the service a 1 and that is just to give a rating if they had a lower number than that i would. For one they had one waitress in there. She seemed high off her ass on meth, had to ask us numerous of times what our orders were, and couldn't keep our drinks even filled. We were there no joke for three hours before we got our meal plus waiting on our appetizers. We had 6 adults and 6 kids u would figure they would of brought our appetizers right away since we had kids. We got them 5 mins before our food. Everyone in the restaurant came and went and ate before we got our food. It was absolutely horrible. We did decide to move to the outside sitting areas to keep the kids occupied and the kids got stung up bc of the nest that was in the black fencing. At this point I was irate. The person that handled the situation the most respectful and good way was the delivery driver. He was actually caring. He gave us a 25 dollar gift card and our dinners for free. The got a big thanks. But that waitress there are no words to describe her, she was a horrible server all around. I think they need to hire people that doesnt look trashy and on drugs and high school students bc maybe people would wanna go there more. Now I know if we do end up getting a taste of chicago food I wouldn't be dinning in there at all. I might order delivery or carry out. Not to mention we had to wait another hour for our desert plus they were out of cheese cake and wasn't notified before we ordered it and...

Decided to try going somewhere different for pizza tonight. I know that due to the fact we carried out instead of dine in, that it could effect the quality of our items for a decent review. So I was certain to taste the onion rings right there in the parking lot. You know... for the sake of reviews... not that I was hungry...yeah....

The onion rings are alright. I really like mine crispy as soon as I take my first bite. Like OVERLY crunchy. These are more of a soft bite with a little crunch. They were cooked well, not overdone and not under cooked. You get quite a bit (as you can see from the pictures) for the basket price!

The thin crust was pretty good. (Smaller pizza picture) It had lots of cheese to fulfill the cheesiest of my dreams. If you're looking for paper thin crust, you will not find it here. But it was tasty.

The deep dish is all one could hope for if you're having a craving. Make it saucy!!! If you love the saucy pies called pizza, look no further! The bread was cooked thoroughly, but it is in no way, shape or form crunchy. Very SOFT crust. My personal preference is having a bit of a crispy crust. It isn't my favorite but it wasn't BAD by any means.

Customer care was excellent. I had to run a quick errand waiting on my food and the cashier that helped me place my order ended up bringing the food right out to me! That really meant a lot to me. Friendly staff, good food. I only give a 3 star due to it not being somewhere I would choose to go back just myself. But with my family, absolutely. Thank you for a good...

First off Fantastic food. The down side is the service and the staffing. We had went out for dinner, was seated. We hadn't had enough time to look at the menu. We requested a few minutes to decide and our waitress stood there and asked if we were ready. Again we asked for a few minutes to decide.

She came back and took our orders, and we requested more ice. They bring out the appitizers, and we requested ice again. Time goes by another waitress walked by and we requested ice for the third time. Our waitress was setting up front playing on here phone this whole time. Our waitress came and told us our dinner should be ready shortly,. One pizza came out and was fixed incorrectly so that was sent back to start all over. Meanwhile we had asked for refills on our drinks. This was the kicker. The waitress picked up our glasses with the inside of the glass! !!! We all looked at each other as,. I didn't see her just put her hands on the inside of our glass. Then to add more when she returned she set two of the glasses down and states,. She might have switched then. Pay attention to what you are doing!!!!.

Long story short after that and an hour wait and still no dinner we requested to pay for our drinks and appetizers and leave. The owner got very upset when we offered to pay for what we had eaten and basically said just leave and forgot about it. It's really sad as we had ordered there quite often because the food is great,. But the professionaism with the staff needs...

We ordered the breadsticks and believe that it is the best appetizer we have tried here. Soft, buttery and good balance of Italian seasoning. Perfect for dipping in nacho cheese sauce. Also, we tried the Pepperoni Pizza on Thin crust and loved it. Not too thin but, and the pizza tastes good, but nothing beats the deep dish style. The Pepperoni Pan Pizza was delicious too. Pan Pizza is a cross between a thin and a deep dish crust. The Garlic Cheese Bread appetizer has lots of cheese and garlic, and great way to start the meal. The Meat Lovers Deep Dish Pizza is the best deep dish pizza we have ever had. The sauce is extremely flavorful, and the perfect amount of pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham and bacon. If you are a Chicago sports team fan or a fan of Deep Dish Chicago Style Pizza then look no further. Everywhere you turn there is a banner, sign or picture of Chicago sports team. The best one is a panoramic view of downtown Chicago. We ordered the Loaded Fries appetizer, and devoured it. The crispy fries which had a soft pillowy center was coated in a cheese sauce and homemade bacon bits. It was so delicious that we couldn't stop eating it. We ordered the Meat Lovers Deep Dish Pizza and it was delicious. There was bacon, Italian Sausage, pepperoni and ham covered in a very flavorful tomato sauce, and the cheese had the right amount of pull. Our son ate the Pepperoni Deep Dish Pizza and loved it. He said it had lots of cheese and pepperoni, and enjoyed the flavorful tomato sauce as well. A friendly staff as well.

Tried enough here to give a full review on my findings. Absolute favorite here is the Chicago style Italian beef with side of au jus. This is many times better than Portillo's. No comparison. Second favorite is the Italian sausage sandwich. Antipasto salad is nice size and delicious fresh ingredients as well. Italian sandwich really wasn't my thing as well as fried ravioli, but neither are my favorites anywhere else, so probably just me. Tried their deep dish pizza and family enjoyed it, but personally, I prefer the same from Giordano's, mostly based on the sauce and crust. Overall, love the place and would fully expect to see Chicago superfans sitting here enjoying the food and discussing MJ & Ditka back in the day.
