So tonight I ordered from here for the first time with being a new resident in Barnegat. I was excited to try them as they seem to always have a lot of cars in their lot. I called my order in for pickup around 10 to 7pm. My husband and I both ordered the pour house special burgers. One was to be medium well and the other well done. Both were extremely pink and red once getting home as well as completely soggy soaked and inedible. Disappointed, I called back and told them how the order wasn't correct as well as being a soggy mess. They told me to throw everything away and they would remake the whole order. I followed their directions and my husband went back for the fresh food around 8pm. Upon returning back home we opened the containers to find just a burger. No fries, no anything. The burgers didn't even come with any of the mayo spread that is supposed to be included. Now frustrated (and hungry) after an hour of nothing but headaches, I politely called back and asked for the manager. They told me they would track him down and have him call me back. When the manager Jim called back, I politely explained the issue. I told him I spoke with Jack, who was very nice, and how he said to throw the entire meal away and it would all be remade, and how then we came home to it being only a burger in each container. Jim then asked rudely, "Well are the burgers acceptable to you this time?" This was after I explained how I only received the burgers, no sides or anything else that I paid for. I told him that no it wasn't acceptable because it wasn't what I paid for and that the employee told me to throw everything away and it would be remade fresh for us. I then asked politely for a refund and in a huff he said "You can bring back the burgers and I will refund you then." It is now 8:30pm and after all of this my husband has now left to return the food and get a refund. I am not one to complain, but for a manager to be as rude as Jim was and ask if the burgers were at least acceptable is horrible work ethic. I was not rude or nasty on the phone. Quite frankly, between how I was spoken to by Jim I will never give them my business again. Thankfully my three kids already ate dinner since they are under 5 and picky eaters but this ordeal completely delayed everything. I will not be giving my business there ever again and I was actually very excited to try them. If you're looking for a place that also has great customer service I would not suggest eating here. I expect more from a manager. It's sad when the employee was better at handling the situation than the manager of...
Read moreHonestly SO IMPRESSED with this place. First time coming there and immediately felt a “chill vibe.” They had on PopRocks SiriusXM channel and it was amazing music. We were all singing along to every song played. Everyone just seemed to be having a comfortable time eating there. The ambiance was cool because you can just look around to see the extremely cool signs/license plates they have all around the restaurant. The Angry Orchard on tap tasted delicious compared to bottled.
In regards to the food, that was what I was most impressed about! We ordered Pierogies and Steak Bites as appetizers. The steak bites were cooked perfectly and tasted so fresh. My family ordered BBQ wings, which they said tasted great and came in a great portion size.
I figured this would be a great place to try the Reuben (which on the menu said popular item). I was extremely impressed and wish I took a picture of it to post. However, it was the perfect portion. It wasn’t sloppy and “falling-apart” like most places serve Reubens, which is what I was afraid of. The rye bread was even “pressed”, which made the sandwich like a panini. It was delicious and easy to eat. The shoestring fries were addicting lol
I would absolutely come here again and for happy hour with...

The Pour House of Tinton Falls, N.J. was the first establishment that a group of friend's started their Adulthood with our First Legal Alcoholic Beverage.
In addition to that, this is where we had our first bowl of Onion Soup, Grilled Hamburger sitting at the Bar, Potato Chips with the warmed up granulated Cheddar Cheese Dip and Crunchy Boardwalk Hotdog with the Cheese Dip on top.
First visit to Doyle's Pour House did not disappoint!!!
Both of us had the very delicious Onion Soup with 3 Cheese melted to perfection on top.
I followed it up with Chicken Wings coated with a Spicy Garlic Sauce, Celery and cups of Blue Cheese and Ranch Dips!!!
Kit had the Pour House Special Angus Burger with Onion Rings.
My choice was the American Melt Sandwich, Thinly Sliced Roast Beef, Horseradish Sauce and Cheddar Cheese between 2 slices of Sour Dough Bread, lightly toasted, French Fries and Coleslaw...
