Sweet Jenny's — Restaurant in Barnegat Township

Beautiful architecture abounds in this cozy, quaint, & extremely family friendly orientated spot that calls 'Downtown' Barnegat their home. The food is beyond on point as far as taste is concerned. Service was excellent, and the portions we're much more than sufficient, coupled with the delish food, you're more than guaranteed to allow yourself a return visit as soon as the want and finance ability show theyselves on the positive note.

My beautiful Wife and I made it for Dinner on a Saturday night, and the older fashioned yet character driven dining room I can strongly liken that night to a ever rapidly revolving door as such. Very popular establishment among this crowd is very much evident.

This Sweet Jenny's restaurant is something of a 're-make' of sorts. There was an original Sweet Jenny's restaurant spot that was not too far down the road in Barnegat, that spot was the epitome as well as the truest definition of a "Family Embraced Local Nabe'hood Family Friendly Cozy Comfortable Eatery Hangout". It even had a beyond decent sized minature golf course to go along with the incredibly fun restaurant. Unfortunately.........................

That original spot burned completely to the ground around Christmas time 2010. That place was really 'One Of A Kind' spot. Well that terrible occurrence begat the tremendous spot that I am going on about, as well as you are hopefully enjoying reading.

Visit Sweet Jenny's restaurant when the belly is on the prowl for strong flavourable eats that will not only please the palette but will fill the eyeballs with a pleasurable view! May the Lord Christ Almighty...

Had me as a customer until now. I always order to go and in two days dropped $110. Last night I ordered online only to receive a call, while I was on a work call, to be told that I was only able to order two scoops of ice cream and two toppings on an ice cream and that they have been making my order “special” for me regularly but it had to stop and they are going to be charging me $.60 for each extra topping. I informed the rather rude woman that called me that the delivery app allowed me to order this way and there was no indication I could not. I also informed her that she needed to change that in the delivery application and to cancel my $78 order. The woman clearly did not want to lose the business and gave the ice cream as ordered but very sternly let me know that this would be the last time she would make the ice cream that way. Okay, fine, not a problem. Do not call me about it. Be responsible and change the way the item can be ordered in the delivery application. That is a business issue and not a customer issue. First off, let me start by saying this is a very cute place. The atmosphere is very nice but our waitress was horrible with attending us. She served us coffee with no creamer and appetizers with no plates, she never offered us water or take home bag for our food and there was leftover food on the floor under the table from the last customer. We told her about the food on the floor and no one came to clean it. She never came to check in on us unless it was to serve us our food or for me to literally get up to ask for her. To make it worse, our food took forever to get to us. We waited a while, and there was only one other customer there besides us. The place was pretty empty, not busy at all. Finally, after waiting so long, when our food finally arrived, there were two hairs found in our food!
