Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Barrington Township

Worst customer service ever. I went in ordered 3 meals. I have 2 screaming kids in the car waiting to eat. So this is what happened when I went to pay their credit card machine wanted a pin for my cc. I do not have it set u I told the assistant manager I don't know it can she type it in she said no. I then asked her if I went outside made a phone order over the phone can she put my cc in then she said yes. So I told her just the it up as a phone sale while I'm there. So she refused. I asked her why she said because I was in the store. I then asked her does this make logical sense to you. She said no. I scoured up the cash for one sandwich to stop my kids from screaming. I pay everything by cc. Never have I had this problem with any of my distributors or cc before. I don't know the logic or business model of this store but this seems like...

Wow! I finally received my 5:02pm order at 6:30pm. It's Monday. They didn't give me what I ordered which was extra sprouts, lettuce... Nor did I get mayo and mustard packets, as my order requested. I never received napkins, after four separate orders, they just don't give napkins, ever!

I'm so very disappointed. My orders have never, ever been correct. I didn't complain before. But now that I had to wait almost 1 1/2 hrs and I think it's time.

My best, almost complete order was if I order before 4:30 during the week. Then whom ever makes the sandwich(s) understands what extra means! And will give you mayo and mustard packets...but never napkins!

My boyfriend and I went to the Barrington location to eat this past Friday evening-around 7pm. When we pulled up to the restaurant the outside lights were turned off, most of the inside lights were turned off (besides the emergency lights), and the chairs were all stacked on the table tops-the place looked like it was closed.

We walked up to the door to see if the restaurant was actually open. When I checked the hours on my phone it said you guys were open until 9p. As we walked closer you could see the cashier hunched over the counter on his phone and some of the employees chillen and sitting on the counter tops where you make the sandwiches-in the dark.
