I'm not going to give less than 4 stars because I'm a big fan of Quiznos and really wish there were more of them around. That being said, my first experience with this restaurant was not pleasant.
I ordered through UberEats 04/25/2021.
I was so thrilled to see Quiznos pop up on my app. I was shocked. I've been looking for a Quiznos for ages.
I immediately ordered my favorite sandwich, Baja Chicken. I also ordered a Turkey Club.
Both sandwiches were dry as can be. The Baja chicken was just bread and chicken mostly, I couldn't taste any sauce.
The Turkey Club also had hardly any mayo on it. Luckily the sandwich comes with lettuce and tomato so that gave it some moisture but otherwise they were both dry as a desert.
I called today to share my experience and disappointment. The lady who answered was nice but stated the reason the sandwiches were dry had to do with how long it takes for Uber to deliver the sandwich...
I thought this was a bit strange and while I had a few things I wanted to say, the lady stated she had customers waiting etc. so I just let her go.
One point I'd like to make though is, I can pack a sandwich for lunch and it can sit in a lunch box or fridge all day long. By the time I go on lunch though and eat the sandwich, whatever sauce I put on the sandwich is still there.
Basically if you don't make a dry sandwich you won't be eating a dry sandwich. It has nothing to do with the time between making it and eating it.
I was surprised when I mentioned the issue the immediate response was putting the blame on UberEats drivers.
Now maybe Quiznos bread and sauces are unique and dry out really fast but I've never experienced this in my 30+ years of sandwich eating nor have I encountered this before with Quiznos. Granted I did normally pickup the order myself in person.
This experience isn't too unique, lots of places skimp on sauces and condiments. I'm not sure why but it's very difficult to get places to put the appropriate amount of sauce on food. For sandwiches it's rough because you lose flavor and it just becomes bread and whatever was in the middle, not so pleasant.
For the sake of Quiznos, please put plenty of sauce on your sandwiches so delivering them doesn't make them...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars, I would. This happened today at around 2:20pm. I was craving Quiznos and since there’s no location near us, we drove 25 minutes to this location. When we walked in, there were no other customers in store. I asked the guy how big a large is, and I thought he’d take out a piece of bread to show me, but he just pointed to the sticker that was on the glass. After looking at the menu, we ordered 2 large veggie sandwiches and chose the bread. I told him we didn’t want olives on either sandwich, no mushrooms on one, and no rice wine vinaigrette on either of them. The guy said ok and then proceeds to put the red wine vinaigrette on one sandwich and says, “red wine vinaigrette on one right?” I said, “No not on either”. He proceeds to get mad, angrily throw the one bread in the garbage and yells at me, “YOU GOTTA BE CLEAR. YOU’RE CONFUSING ME.” I said well I’m speaking to you clearly and just repeated you are confusing me. So my husband and I said we don’t want anything now and he said ok and we walked out. His angry attitude towards us was completely unwarranted and unacceptable. I did not say anything rude that required the kind tantrum. There was no other customer in store. He wasn’t under any pressure so what was his problem? We were paying customers but his unnecessary tantrum ruined our...
Read moreI feel like Quiznos is the best of all the chain sandwich shops. Their bread is super fresh (and actually tastes like bread) and they have tons of varieties of sandwiches and high quality meats. Some daily specials include various subs starting at about 8 dollars. If u decide on a speciality sub the price goes up to about 11 dollars. Their basic sub begins at 8" (which is definitely more fun than the typical 6") One of their best speciality subs is a lobster roll which is super awesome. They also offer double meat and cheese options and guacamole. The location that I visit the girls who work there are very nice and helpful with the menu. There are a ton of signs to read when you come in and it's easily to get distracted if you are coming in for the first time. Two subs with chips and drinks will typically run about 27$ . More pricey than some of the other chains but I feel like...
