Peterson's Tasty Delight Bakery — Restaurant in Barrington Township

Wow, what a great tasting cake! Here is what I love about Petersen's. They were quick to make a cake with less than a 48 hour turnaround. They were able to customize a robot theme on our cake. When we picked up the cake, they were able to make alterations to ensure our 6 year old birthday party would be a hit! The cake looked great and tasted even better. This cake tasted delicious oh my. We went with a marble cake, with buttercream frosting, and buttercream filling. I find myself looking for excuses to buy more cake! The key to this place is while I called other bakeries to make this project come to life, I heard a lot of no's. At Petersen's, I heard a lot of yes's. They try to make projects work while others were stuck in a box. And that made a big difference to us...

You can easily know that it is bakeries, cupcakes and bagels since there's a word " Bakery" in front of the stores. They have a parking lot in front of the store. If it is full you can park at the parking lot of the next store.

I'm a regular customer here and I really like their baked foods.

One of my favorites was their Almond Croissant with dipped chocolate end. It was very soft and chocolatey. Every bite I have I can taste the sweetness of the bread and I find it amazing and yummy. I can't get enough of this so every time I come here I order a box of it for take out.

I really recommend this shop for you. They have the best bread. You will not be with this. Come and taste...

I've loved this place for years. They have fancy things like fruit filled Danish sweet rolls, coffee cakes, little Italian cookies, big cookies with fudge smiley faces or holiday themes on them, and more. Their donuts are great and don't have that weird after taste of cheap chains like DD. I think the best value in the place is the struesal square. It's so big it's like your own little butter coffee cake... But you might not want to share. Having moved away, I still come back whenever I come to visit Mom.
