McDonald's — Restaurant in Barrington

The guy that’s always taking orders in the drive through is so incredibly rude for no reason. I come here often since I live around the corner but I’d rather drive to palatine or lake Zurich to avoid dealing with him and his attitude. Whenever he comes on the speaker you can hear that you’re an immediate inconvenience in his tone and when you get to the window he always puts his finger up telling you to wait. I haven’t complained in the almost two years I’ve lived in Barrington but today was the final straw. We had a code at the window and asked to add an item, he smacked his hands down like he was extremely irritated that we had a code and that did it for me. I decided not to ask what his problem was because I honestly would’ve went off. I worked at McDonald’s for 2 years and I understand how easy you can get frustrated when it’s “busy”. But that’s unacceptable that every single time I come he’s clearly in a sour mood.

I asked for fresh nuggets and the guy kept going back and forth with me about not wanting to drop them fresh, finally he agreed, I waited 10 minutes and the nuggets were still not hot. I got home and noticed a long black hair underneath my daughters burger, which I believe was put there on purpose. I’ve had this issue with old nuggets before from this McDonald’s. Another lady was waiting 20 minutes inside for a happy meal and said it was the worst McDonald’s she’d ever been to and I agree, it’s sad and disgusting that they would have hair in my food so strategically placed in my daughter’s food. I have the photos to prove it. I guess I’ll have to travel to a different McDonald’s although this is the one close to me because this one doesn’t seem to represent the brand in a good way. I ordered an $18 delivery app order of nuggets and fries for my daughter one night and my nuggets were old, the quality level has been consistently low since I’ve been going here (for my daughter). I ordered a $6 meal, which comes with any size drink, a small fry, a pie, and your choice of sandwich or chicken nuggets. Instead, I was charged for a big mac meal (which is more than $6) and not given my pie. When I told the manager, he rolled his eyes at me, dumped my (medium) fries back into the fry basket and got a small fry instead, and gave me a pie that, according to the sticker, had just expired and did nothing about overcharging me. So basically, he gave me less food and kept the extra money. These people obviously don't know how to take orders or fix issues they caused and there were only 2 customers aside from me so they were not busy at all.
