My wife had told me about this place a few days ago. She went there with some of her workmates for lunch today, and still had some leftovers to bring home to eat for dinner. She suggested that I take a look at the menu and order something for her to pick up on the way home, and so I did. I can't remember the exact name of the dish, but it was salmon with pineapple and mango with a slightly spicy demiglaze on a bed of rice, on a bed of mixed greens. Also had corn and very fresh and soft avocado slices. It's pretty cool because you can order the level of done this that you would like your salmon cooked too. I selected medium. I think I will order it medium rare next time. It came with a creamy light green salad dressing which was delicious as well. All of it was quite tasty. I've never been to the restaurant itself and therefore cannot comment concerning its atmosphere, but my wife says that the people there are very friendly. And that's a plus these days. Updated review: They must have had a bad night, because after waiting an hour and a half for delivery I went to pick it up and the food still wasn't done ! The counter person was very standoffish and said, It's not my fault .. "I'm not the cook". After a total of two hours, the food was finally ready, and I made them refund the delivery charge and tip.

I hope it was just a bad night . .but I'm thinking twice (maybe three times) before going back.

Old review: Nacho Mama's is consistently very good food, and is in our rotation of places to go to get takeout ! I usually get the pulled pork BBQ nachos, which are yummy ! It's oven-baked, not smoked pork, so not true BBQ, but it's good none the less. Very nice people. They are closed on Sunday, which I both like and don't.
