Poor consistency is the problem. You never know what you are going to get on any given night. Lots of staff churn (which is usually a bad sign), means little commitment to quality.
I have had some truly good pies and subs and some truly bad ones. Probably best gluten free pie around (very important for the fam). The worst sub/hero rolls around - sometimes stale, always bleh (seriously, fix that ASAP, Mr Zoni). Large pies are very good for group events. So are the beers (when they have them).
Pizza used to be a cheap meal out, Piezonis makes you reassess that. I often take out and am usually surprised by my bill. Most importantly: Piezonis has lost the "love" in its food and the personal touch one hopes for in a pizza.
Perhaps management has expanded the franchise too much, but I will choose the competition where I know the person who is preparing my food and takes a pride of...

Try as I might I cannot get other Piezoni’s locations to replicate what they do. It shouldn’t be hard to put buffalo sauce on a pizza but when I ask the Smithfield and Lincoln locations they either don’t know what I’m talking about, never get it right or try to charge me extra even though they did not accommodate the request.
I would love for the Barrington manager to have some form of communication or influence to the other locations to up their game and match the quality pizzas they put out. Shocked they can’t just all...
Read moreWe had the worst experience ordering from Piezoni of Barrington tonight. We ordered 2 vegetarian pizzas- one of the pizza we received had ham and bacon despite specifying it clearly as vegetarian on the order. When I called the store to request a replacement vegetarian version, they were so obnoxious and rude. Unbelievable. The manager's name is Ty and she refused to send me a replacement vegetarian version of the same pizza. She said she would charge me again and refused to acknowledge a simple mistake. I had my neighbor taste the pizza to confirm the meat was ham and bacon. Never again will I order at Piezoni. They have no respect for local Barrington residents especially...
