Simple Simon's Pizza — Restaurant in Basehor

Just wow! They've got prices similar to Domino's, but the taste is far far better! I'm not usually a fan of cheese pizza, because usually it's very plain to me. But we got the stuffed crust cheese pizza here and I was mind blown! They layer the cheese thick, without having to order extra cheese! The stuffed crust and dough were amazing and more flavorful than pizzahuts equivalent.

We also had a spicy beef stuffed quesadilla with onions, and a meat calzone. The spicy beef wasn't too spicy, just a nice burn in the mouth that quickly subsided. And the calzone was just as amazing as the pizza, with a crispy flaky exterior.

The only item we ordered that I personally wasn't a fan of was the cheese breadsticks. The kids loved them, but I found them a little bland in comparison to the rest of the food being so flavorful. Don't get me wrong, still tons better than the ones their chain competitors have.

With the car side pickup and online ordering, order and pickup couldn't be easier. We will definitely be making this our new weekly pizza...

Super tasty pizza of really high quality for this area of the KC metro! We don't hit up Basehor often, but I would totally do it again for this pizza next time I'm in this area. We got the BBQ chicken and were really surprised at how good it was. If they opened a location nearer to KC proper, I'd definitely go more often.

But, I'll warn you, they are apparently in great demand, as they were super busy. It seems to be better to pick up than have delivered. They also only have two tables in their tiny waiting area, so be prepared that you may not be able to eat in, as it can get packed. Or, be friendly and share a table and make new friends! We stopped by after KC Ren Fest, and ended up chatting with folks about Ren Fest, and it seemed like although there was a bit of a wait for food, all the customers were prepared to be chill and nice while waiting for it. The employees are very nice as well. I'd recommend this place - just be cool while waiting...

I work at a hotel that gets deliveries from Simple Simon's often and I called to redeem my tickets for a free pizza for the front desk they were training a girl and at the end of our phone call I assumed we were both finished she verified my order and what I thought was and okay thank you was actually a okay hold on so when nobody was there on the other end I hung up and about an hour and a half later I called to check on my food as they were closed and still had not delivered and was told that the order got cancelled that they left it up for 20 minutes to see if I was going to call back but when I didn't they cancelled the order and they was already closed.. they have the hotel's phone number why they didn't call me when there was a question is the confusing part considering we direct a lot of business there way so naturally you would think that they would want to take better care of us...
