If i could give this place negative 10 stars I would. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! Went to go eat with a friend (have eaten here around 3 or 4 times before) not the greatest but hasn’t been the worst either. Anyways, went in and IMMEDIATELY received attitude from the 2 girls standing up front by the register then we proceed to the second booth where the young lady is suppose to take you to your seat. She walked us to our booth and before i could even sit down and say thank you she YELLED “you’re welcome” and then she walked to her little station and continued to give my friend and i dirty looks , she did stop after like 5 minutes once she seen we weren’t paying attention to her. Although our waitress was very rude and not friendly whatsoever between her and the bus boy our drinks did stay full. It took a very long time to get our food, when we received our food it was only “warm” only a little handful of fries & the meat was cold. Once we got our food we didn’t hear from our waitress until she was handing us the check. Manager did not care what was going on as he spent the whole time giggling with all the girls that were rude. On top of that, my friend and I got sick after we were done eating. Please stay away from this place! The food is mediocre, the service and friendly customer service is NONEXISTENT. If you like rude staff, food that will you get sick, and managers who do not care then this is the...
Read moreAfter looking for a rather more favorite mexican restaurant in the neighborhood, spending some time looking around having difficulty. Finally, after setting on Ellen ueville, I have found that the atmosphere is far superior than most of the restaurants in town. The service, they're always on, top of it, has a smile. And more great attitude, the music is nice. It's never too loud. Now, the food far exceeded in my expectations. The enchiladas were right on point is ryce, was perfectly cooked. The beans were right consistency, that even the queso was creamy and rich. My father had mole a mole burrito, which I personally don't like mole, and it was one of the best molé I have ever tasted. After searching for about six months for our good, it's a mexican restaurant that had menudo we have found that Ellen nuevo has a really great menudo, it has a pretty good amount of tripe it could use a little more. However, the soup itself is rich. Savory, not too greasy, doesn't need any other extra seasonings. They make their own flowers and corn tortillas, they come out fresh. And they're aqua frescas are really tasty and hydrating, they leave, you always wanting more. After leaving, I've decided what that you will be coming back. And this is now one of our more...
Read moreThe food is generally pretty good! Actually starting to become our new “regular” spot. The only issue is with a gentleman server they have there. He is extremely rude and rushes you. We sat down and he wouldn’t even look us in the eye. Then he brought our drinks back wrong we asked him if he could switch out the water he brought for sweet tea since we ordered a tea. He looked at my dad and said well water is healthier for you and wouldn’t go get a tea. Finally my dad said no I would really like tea. Then when ordering I was still looking at my menu trying to decide. While he is listening to my parents order he tries to snatch the menus out of my hand. I keep hold it and tell him I’m still looking. He proceeds to try and take the menu from me and yanking it. I get louder and say he’s rude that I’m trying to look. He then never comes to check on us. Threw to go boxes at my mom even though we didn’t ask for any. And as we were putting our food in the containers to leave he proceeded to grab my mothers plate SHE WAS STILL EATING and took off. He was rude, and going to single handedly ruin their customer base if he continues to act like that. Worst experience of my life. I love it there but because of him we might...
