Burger King — Restaurant in Bastrop

I'm not sure if 0 stars would show up, so I selected one. I never write reviews, but the managers and franchise owners need to visit this store. I have been twice and will not return until I know some serious changes have been made. The place was completely filthy (both times) not just in the eating area but behind the counter where they swept up a complete 5 gallon bucket of food and trash while I was there. One customer complained to me while we were waiting , just out of the blue, that it's pretty bad that not a single table was clean and he had to brush trash off a seat to sit down. Both times while waiting I have heard people complain that their orders were wrong- ours did not have cheese even though it shows it on our receipt, one of the buns was burned black on the inside and the fries were cold and stale. The young lady that took my order today had two black eyes and a big cut on her arm. I know people have to work and sometimes you have a bad week, but the cut should have been bandaged and the black eyes could be covered up with something. I feel for her because I really blame whoever is training the people and mostly the managers. Having only been open 2 weeks or so, I understand there is a learning curve, but keeping a food place clean is not optional. I have contacted the 800 line to lodge my concerns and hopefully will hear from someone in person instead of a generic response. The health department should keep an eye...

So Esmeralda the manager today started harassing 2 customers today for their service animals not having their vests on. Her manager needs to teach her how to properly handle asking people for service papers if she has a problem why dogs in this heat are not wearing service vests. Ok top of that this lady can't read simple orders getting orders all wrong. I order the #1 with only mayonnaise and instead got a small jr. Cheeseburger with everything I asked not to be on it. Now I was nice about it all but then I asked to speak to her store manager and she simply told me that they won't be available. So because I am not able to speak to the manager I will post this so they will hopefully see it. You hired a lady who is down right rude. Who also can't read proper instructions and made orders wrong. While customers watched her have attitudes to people who had service animals but these customers brought in their dogs registrations and once she humiliated these customers she didn't want to see proof of their services. This is not ok and I hope they instead give her position to someone who has manners and doesn't act like they came from streets. So Esmeralda thank you for humiliating 2 people for having service dogs. I didn't appreciate it one bit and I am sure the other customer didn't either. Maybe you should go back to school so you can at least learn to read and make burgers correctly and maybe you can learn...

Update: I hate how they make you pull up & "walk your food out"..... They have a window for taking your money, but they do not use it. They would rather you wait in their driveway or parking lot & have your food cool off or warm up before you get it. My chocolate shake was so loose it resembled choc milk. He actually walked up with a bag for food for the car behind me; keep in mind that when I ordered there was no one else in line at all. Finally got my food and then the person who walks out my food to a parking spot says, "Would you like some ketchup or other sauce for your tenders?"... They wanted me to wait some more to get their darn sauce. Both types of hamburgers were subpar this time and the chicken tenders were especially bad: over cooked, hard, dry & NO SAUCE to make them at all bearable. We WILL NOT RETURN

Old review I like the way hamburgers made here taste: the flame broiling really is different. If you eat in however, do not get soda; it is one of those combined machines with all the touch screens. Don't you love handling a public touch screen just before eating a burger or fries with your hands! They should offer hand cleaner by the machine. Anyone who has used that machine, you get their germs or worse on your hands just before eating. This particular machine does NOT mix well. I tried multiple times to get a decent drink & All the...
