We stayed these past 2 days in a travel trailer. We were lucky and got the last spot. It happened to be by the entrance but it also was right next to the bathrooms with was super convenient. The women's (and men's from what my husband said) were very clean and bright. I did see some mold in the corner of a shower but I get it, sometimes it is embedded in the grout and you can't get it out. It wasn't extreme and the rest of the bathroom was so clean, I didn't worry too much about it. There were probably 10 showers and 5/6 toilets so plenty to go around. There is also a code to get in so it makes you feel a bit safer. Our pad had a nice level cement area to park, a picnic table and grill. I was very pleased with the space available between campsites. I have been to many where you feel on top of the other person. Plus we had a nice tree for shade. The pool isn't the biggest pool I have seen and is 5ft at its deepest. It is enough though to get wet on the hottest of days. In the pool area is a small splash pad for little guys as well. There was only one table that I saw to sit at. They seem to offer a camp kitchen and area if you have a large party. My cousin was with me and she said that there were some old bananas left in the fridge so that needed a little attention. We walked to the river area after. On the way was a small dog park area. It is on a sloped hill but had plenty of trees and a bench. The river area... it has a small area that looks like you can fish from it but it doesn't look well maintained. I wonder by the sand on the fishing pier area if this part got flooded in the past and has just been let go a little.|| This campground has cabins that you can rent as well. I didn't go into them so I can't comment, but they look cute from the outside. I think the people here are kind and friendly. My kids threw a frisbee and it landed on the bathroom roof. They were nice enough to get a ladder and help them get it down. My husband had more interaction with the personnel as he was the one that checked in and he seemed to be very pleased with them. People would wave and say good morning and seemed to be very pleasant. We could hear plenty of road noise when we were sitting outside, as this is located...you guessed it, just off of the road. Saying that, when we were in the camper, we couldn't hear it at all. There is wi-fi but the towers we saw were closer to the middle of the campground by the pool area. We were by the front of the camp and could not get very good reception. They offer tent sites as well throughout the campground. There is a small playground down by the river area.||The consensus between myself, my husband and my cousins is that yes, this is a very nice, clean and friendly campground and we would stay here again if we visit...
Read moreJust stayed here this past weekend for 4 days. Very nice park. We stated on the tree side away from the highway. Nice and lots of shade. The site backed up on to a field with a bunch of pecan trees and some cows. Every morning and evening a large herd of deer came by and fed right outside the camper. Was nice to sit and watch them. My wife even went to the Bucee's down the road and got some corn to feed them. Really drew them in. ||The site we were on was very shaded and level with good parking space. The only downside I have for this spot is there is a tree that is over the right side. As you are backing in this tree will scrape the side and roof of your trailer. If you are able to may be able to back more to the left but I was unable to do this due to another truck parked across the road from my spot. No one's fault here as they were legally within their parking, but I sure could have used a few more feet to cut over where the truck was. Anyway, took out my antenna. I'm sure it can be salvaged and we rarely use it as we use a satellite dish. Basically my only complaint and it's not really a complaint. ||The bath/shower area is very nice. Large and plenty of showers. Also seemed clean. Nice pool and splash pad. I did jump in the pool and it felt great.||One other thing, the camp is on the Colorado river and I only went down there once. The area by the river seems a bit overgrown. Also there is a fishing patio type area but half of it seems over grown with weeds. I didn't care to even try to fish down there. ||||Over all we were very pleased with this campground. The owner checked me in and she was very pleasant. Sorry I forgot her name....
