I have NEVER left a review in my life but this is pathetic ! On July 30th around 7:10 we pull into the drive through of the Whataburger in Bastrop Tx. When we got to the speaker to order we sat there for 10 to 15 minutes trying to order . Unfortunately no one ever said a word to us . We ended up pulling around to ask if the speaker was broken because that is ridiculous that no one ever even cared to come on the speaker an say “ please give us a few minutes to come back to you and get your order placed “, which if that had been said I would’ve been completely understanding . When we pulled around to the window Lakenya came up an procceded to tell us that we where lying an she had been placing all the orders . We asked them if they could just take our order at the window scene we had already waited 15 minutes to place it at the speaker. Lakenya then took our order then told us to pull up an wait for them to bring it out. We then waited for another 20 minutes to never receive our food . At that point I just wanted a refund so we went inside just for Ava to tell us to clock in and go cook our own food . I then requested to talk to the manager and request a refund . To the owner of this Whataburger I hope you are reading this please do better with your staff on how to be nicer and have better customer service because this was the worst experience I have ever had . I really do hope you check the cameras and do something about the way Lakenya acted because it was unacceptable to have to basically beg at the speaker just to get someone to talk to you . We ended up going to DQ where we got our food and talked to someone all within 10 minutes . Whataburger is my favorite place to eat but I will not be going back to the one in Bastrop , being that every time I go there it takes 40 minutes just to get my food . Read moreSo over a week ago I send my daughter to pick up burgers at the drive thru. She comes back after a 20+ minute wait, and I find that there's no meat! Where's the beef?? I call, and was told they can replace meal if I come back, no charge.
Well, I go myself the next day, explain I'm wanting my replacement meal,and after being inside the restaurant for about 10 minutes myself, I ask what's happening with my meal. I was patiently waiting because I saw they were busy, but it turns out it was at drive thru table for a bit. Then a lady at counter says to throw my fries for fresh ones. I do, and after another 10 minutes goes by, I ask about fries. The fry person was told to give me some twice, and I believe he was deliberately ignoring me until I came to ask second time. So I'm standing right at counter, and it's taking a while. Turns out he was overcooking them on purpose. I found out when I tried fries in car, most were inedible.
So after calling to complain, and responding to email stating I wanted refund, I never got a response back by Paul Blandford.
I have been beyond patient and understanding, but I felt the poor food and service needed to be addressed.
I will say I appreciate Randy Washington for his help in the matter, and issuing a refund. I just feel that it should not have been drawn...
Read morei made a online order to pick up after i got off grave yard shift on a monday at the bastrop location to find out that the building had a power outage and was not able to fill any orders which i understand and was told to contact customer care to get a refund from company for it being online order which i did and so far i only got my reward pts refunded to me and i did see on my bank acct amount of $13.77 had disappeared for a moment to it being recharged 5 days later on thursday night and when i went to store to ask manager on duty if i could just get the order made since whataburger ran the charge she argued that she could not do that because the store did not run the online side of the operation which in my option is BS and bad customer service it all same company name if she would have filled the order i would have dropped any complaint and this review would have had a different rating and outcome but i guess customer service is not part of the industy anymore and the bastrop location has lost a 40 yr loyal customer for ever and the customer care center is just as bad i called everyday since monday and they told me they summitted ticket for a refund for me and i would just have to sit and wait which is BS as well they took my money in a sec and im 5 days waiting and still not...
