I wanted to leave a tremendously passionately and glowing review of the amazing Dominos Aurora-Kirk location. This store is managed by a team of rockstars, with Laura (GM) at the top. Laura treats her staff like they are family (some of her team members are her own kids)! It is an absolutely amazing pleasure to talk with Laura and she has such an impact on her customers. Her crew consists of the amazing Don, he daughter Ashley and her son Tyler. Finally, even though she isn’t blood related family to Laura, she seemingly is because how close she is to Laura, Alex is another rockstar who is just incomparably amazing.
I just love this team because of how passionate, dedicated, and kind they are. I have two people in my family along with myself who are gluten free and allergic to Gluten. For over a year now and Alex confirmed this for me on Saturday, they encouraged my family to order during non busy times like evening or early morning because they literally take passion and dedication to the next level. Laura and Alex and the team, put our pizza’s on a separate sheet all by itself and put fresh “sauce” (new container) and add all of the ingredients separately and then place our family’s pizza’s separately in the oven away from the others.
The nurturing and love from the Laura imparts on her amazing team-her two kids and Don and Alex is hard to encapsulate and put into words. This is because this directly transfers onto the passion and love the guests receive. I’m not restaurant expert but this seems to make sense. It directly translates.
So again lastly, this is a message appealing to all team leaders and higher ups in Laura’s district. Please recognize Laura and her rockstar team. Please personally take a few moments to congratulate them and take care of these amazing human beings. Finally, this is an impassioned plea, please keep the “gluten free $7.99 coupon”. The number of gluten free customers (demand) is extremely high, you guys at corporate sell a ton of these pizza’s and this brings entire family’s back for dinner. Think about all of the additional pizza’s you guys sell because of a family of 3 like ours or even bigger family’s. It is dollars and cents, no pun intended it only makes logical sense to keep this going. So please, keep this option available, because before just because family’s like ours had members who have a gluten allergy like my folks and me , before we had to pay off the wall extra/double for what everyone else gets for $7.99. Also, please keep this incomparable model of dedication going for Aurora-Kirk and use this as a lesson for all of your stores. This is a model that should be followed, it is unmatched. Everyone at Dominos corporate and other locations should spend time to learn and grow from how Laura, Don, and Alex run their stores.
One final note and most important-
The concern and passion and care Laura, Alexander this team takes to protect themselves and others during the pandemic is also unmatched. This offer contactless pick up and most of all wear masks universally. There are so many examples of other chain restaurants where you go to pick up and through the window from the parking lot you can see workers who have their masks down. It is so frustrating and then you only wonder why so many restaurants have to close because of this pandemic and worst economic time in 100 years. Laura and her team takes things seriously. The biggest thing I learned this past Saturday was that Alex and some of her team members have immune compromised folks at home, just like myself. Alex and Laura and Don et all go the extra mile. As Alex told me, still occasionally brain dead guests will come in without a mask to pick up and they go out of their way to make staff uncomfortable. However, nothing and no obstacles will stop the dedication and passion and “love” this team goes to keep all customers and all of their loved ones (staff and immune compromised folks at home) safe.
Thank you Laura and team!

I have to reach out again, this is extremely important that corporate reads this and takes notice and also that Laura’s area managers see this as well. Simply put, Dominos Aurora-Kirk is the model of how every dominos should be 100 percent. Laura Simpson is an incredible rockstar GM who is the best of the best. She cares for each of her team members like her own and treats and takes care of customers in the most genuine and caring way ever. Laura’s staff that needs recognition includes Alex, Tyler, Vanessa, and Don. These folks simply care and have more passion than any other restaurant. For gluten free folks, we have an amazing system for my family to pre order ahead of time when it is not slammed busy and pick up pizzas after the rush (before 11A for lunch or after 915 p for dinner.) Laura takes such care for us, by cleaning and doing an entire dedicated area for gluten free. Also during my last year of eating healthy, she has put together a very healthy 800 approx calorie pie, that includes all veggies and less cheese, that not only she but the entire staff memorized every time my number pops up. She also takes amazing care of my folks as well. I want all higher ups to see this, so they first and foremost recognize and reward and praise Laura, but also the entire team. This is about caring so much. Finally, I want corporate to see this and take note too, please keep the gluten free pies on the $7.99 special, folks like us don’t have the choice for what we eat. The first thing you guys did was allow a promo code to be used for this crust, this made it possible for folks to be able to afford having dominos and this healthy meal we enjoy frequently, because before the same meal was almost $20 and I’m telling you, you can go to a fancy Italian restaurant and have a pie for that much which isn’t as good tasting. This was a novel idea to first roll out the gluten free promo code and then even more recently advertise heavily on selling these pies as part of the $7.99 deal. Guys, I know for a fact these crusts are selling well and making this chain a lot of more money and also continued frequent return customers over the years and passionate ones as well. So please notice and praise Laura and model her success at Aurora Kirk with other stores because simply put, not all dominos are the same and no location is as impeccably incredible and phenomenal at Laura’s location. Simply the best, keep it up and pass the...
Read moreIf I could give this Domino's zero stars, I would. This is easily the worst Domino's that I've been to. I have ordered from this location multiple times, and each time I'm optimistic and hopeful that they will get things right. But sadly, each time I am disappointed. Up to today, I had lost so much faith in this particular Domino's, that I actually called them immediately after placing my order online, just to confirm that they would not put their garlic paste on the pizza crust. The guy that I talked to assured me that he saw the notes from the online order that I placed. He said that he would not allow one drop of garlic paste onto the crust. I was relieved. Once I reached the store and the worker handed me my order, I once again confirmed with her that there was no garlic on the crust. She assured me that it was dry. I was so close to trusting them. I wanted to believe so badly that they made my order correctly, but alas I am jaded and have trust issues. So when I got to the car, I opened the box just to double check before it was too late...and you know where this is going. THE PIZZA WAS COVERED IN GARLIC! It looked like extra garlic. Very heavy on the garlic. I was flabbergasted. How much easier could I have made it for them to NOT make the garlic mistake? I added it in the notes, I called the store, and I confirmed at the end. And still. Still, it was wrong. Thanks Domino's, you guys have been a terrible...
