La Michoacana Sweet Ice Cream — Restaurant in Batavia Township

First time coming here , i usually go to the one in Dekalb ( my 1st choice ) and the one in Elgin on mc Clean ( 2nd choice ) but I was in the area so I decided to go here … upon my arrival I was greeted by some young girl who didn’t look too welcoming and had a bit of sass to her tone … which I’m like okay whatever. I’m just here for the ice cream and the customer service could be better but I just ignored that. When I asked for the 2 scoops ice cream, I barely got it filled like I usually would at the michoacanas mentioned ⬆️ and ended up paying $4 something … usually when I’d go to the other michoacanas, with the same cup she filled, they’d at least fill up the whole cup side to side and descent sized scoops and I wouldn’t mind paying $4 something but this , I feel like I got ripped off … but the only good thing about this one is that they’re ice cream is the smoothest and most creamiest I’ve tried in the area …. But i don’t know, if I’ll unfortunately go back to this one again … it’s a shame because they’re Ice cream is...

Will never return to this one again. I ordered a mangoneada and specifically asked for half lime, half mango. After explaining to me that the ice cream was too hard to scoop out and would not taste right I explained to her that it is ice cream and it’s 90 degrees out, it will melt enough on the way home. Why on earth she continued to fill it to the top with lime Im not sure. So I point that out and she said it was too late and gave me a hard time about redoing it, so I said fine whatever and ordered the remaining of my items. The entire transaction was just terrible, she had zero customer service, there was not a language barrier because I spoke to her in both English and Spanish and she could not speak up in either language. This was a terrible experience and recommend going to a different location. Management should be ashamed of...

Omg this place is the best !!!! Some of the best ice cream flavors I’ve ever had. I can honestly say I couldn’t eat a pistachio bar all at once because there was so many damn pistachios in there. Next the Ferrero Rocher has got to have at least 3 whole candies in it, plus one at the bottom. I’ve never had a smoothie, but I always look at the fresh fruit and it’s always perfect. About $2 per bar and a bit more for the good ones. My favorites are Vanilla, mocha, Carmel (has real cookies surrounding it!) damn who am I kidding, they’re all great.
