There was only 2 people working 4/5/25 at 5:50 pm there was one guy inside waiting on his order when we came in and the girl up front was taken a drive thru order . When she got done she didn't say anything and looked at me I asked is she ready to take our order and she said yes but you could bearly hear her . I told her mine and my husband told her his and my step Son she asked what size we told her . The total came to $44.41 my husband gave her $50 she didn't give him back his changed set the cups on the counter no change or receipt she went took the drive thru money came back and put it in register and went by the windows got on her cell phone . The guy standing there told her she owed my husband his change because he gave her 2$20 and 1 $10 he told her that's what my husband gave her she still didn't move or put her phone down she open the drive thru windows and ask the car to pull up then she took a drive thru order got there money and put in register and there change and still the hole time my husband stood there she didn't say anything or ask him if he needed something she just went back on her cell phone the guy from the back came up front to get something and my husband told him about his change not one time did the girl say anything she just looked at her phone . The guy went back call someone and then came back up and said he had to come in the morning and talk with the manger my husband told him he didn't get a recipt on our order then the guy realized what my husband was say so he printed up a recipt and gave my husband his change the girl just set there and stay on her phone . Then she came out and brought our order to us dropped it on the table and turn around I said thank you and she was real rude . People shouldn't be rude and at least say something when a customer is saying something not be on there phone . The guy was helpful but the girl don't need to be up front working if she going be on her phone...
Read moreI don't go to Hardee's much but decided to order on the app and grab breakfast while running errands. My order was perfect, and the staff at the drive-thru window was friendly despite having just interacted with an upset customer.
I'm not sure what transpired with the lady in the vehicle in front of me, but it appeared they'd gotten her order wrong in the drive-thru, and she wanted it taken care of. It seemed as if they were trying to make her happy, as I could hear them say they would refund her order or give her a credit. I was as friendly as could be when I got to the window and had a very nice conversation with the employee at the window. I tried to brighten her day, as she seemed to be a little discouraged after that interaction. I hope her day gets better, and I'll definitely go back for...

I feel like I got more done sitting in the back seat of our car, knitting maybe six rows while we waited, than these three guys got done in their entire workday. I get fast food is stressful, genuinely. These men spent their holiday serving in an underpaid, necessary field instead of being with their families, and that's commendable. But when it gets to the point where a family of three has to throw all of their food away because it tastes wrong, that's when food safety kind of becomes questionable. At worst we ate old or unsafe food, and at best, we wasted money and wound up hungry at the end...
