Besteas Sip & Bite — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

We had an amazing experience at this Besteas Sip! I don't really write reviews, but this place was really deserving of one!

We ordered the Taro Coconut Milk Tea and the Oolong Milk Tea—both were incredibly flavorful, and we loved that they even offered oat milk as an option. The boba was perfect—just the right size, sweetness, consistency, and chewiness. Even in a cold drink, it stayed soft, which is a huge plus! We also appreciated how customizable the drinks were, from sweetness levels to ice, and the variety of add-ons was impressive. Highly recommend the boba and egg pudding!

Beyond the drinks, they also serve bánh mì, which was absolutely delicious. The bread was crispy, the meats were flavorful, and the pickled veggies had the perfect balance of sweetness and tang. I love they used Vietnamese mayo. No Vietnamese bánh mì, is complete without its rich yellow smear of Vietnamese-style mayo! A must try!

We couldn't resist trying their cakes, and they did not disappoint! The Ube Japanese Cheesecake was my favorite—light, balanced, and not overly sweet. They also had a special Mardi Gras cake with three layers of flavors, which was so fun to try! Plus, they carry Hi Do King Cakes, and we were thrilled to be able to order two.

The shop itself was super clean and well-maintained, making it a great place to sit and enjoy our drinks. They even had a selection of snacks available, which was a nice touch!

Overall, this spot is a must-visit for boba lovers and foodies alike!...

I had a delightful experience at this charming tea shop, which boasts an incredible selection of over fifty different teas, ranging from classic black and green varieties to exotic herbal blends. The tantalizing jellies, crafted from fresh fruits and unique flavors, add an exciting twist to any beverage. I also enjoyed the refreshing boba pearls, perfectly chewy and infused with just the right amount of sweetness. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating, making it a perfect spot for friends to gather or for solo visitors to unwind. Highly recommend!! We got the black milk tea, Vietnamese coffee and a pork banh mi along with them. The milk tea had a great balance of milk and tea and the Vietnamese coffee was wonderfully different than other places. This was a strong version but still sweet without being too sickenly sweet which we loved. BANH MI WAS SO SO GOOD.
