East Dragon — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

ZERO STARS!!!!!!! Called in to place a big order for my family last week that was from out of town I should add. Well a man at East Dragon answered the phone (yeah) very “RUDE” I’m like wait what? Is this East Dragon? He goes to say yeah yeah (again “RUDE”) I’m like ok whatever I’m going to go ahead an place an order we’re hungry so I’m going to excuse his lil funky attitude over the phone. Ok so I put in my food order hung up and was like oh I forgot something I called back and instead of announcing the business he’s yelling yeah yeah ok….I just held the phone wondering like why oh why I’m giving these rude a ss people my money, you don’t answer a business phone all “ RUDE” and yelling YEAH!! Like we bothering you by placing an order whether you’re busy or not it’s a restaurant a business I’m not calling your home/personal line you should be use to people calling in orders big or small. But I’m like ok its convenient (which is the problem because convenient is not everything) it’s not far from the house so ok I’m going to let this slide The food was mediocre we had better food than this elsewhere. I ordered food for family that was in time for the 4th of July I will never go here again with they ol rude a sses it makes me sick they act this way in a black area and act nasty like that!!! Like we need them here a bunch of JOKES I hope they close down no telling what they’re are serving us...

This restaurant has the most rude employees. If you have a question about your order the owner always feels the best response is to yell. My family were great patrons of this establishment until there was a miscommunication. The food was the most decent we could find and the prices use to be reasonable. We ordered a dinner and got white rice instead of fried rice. When we wanted to correct it the manager shouted and refused to take it back. We were going to pay the difference for the food until she shouted. We returned the food for a refund that wasn't going to be issued except there was police eating there. She took the food back and issued a refund. If they didn't watch her dispose of the food, she would have given it to someone else. That is the last time my family ate from here. This is some of the worst food I've ordered in a long time. The food is basically rapidly reheated without a care and the portions are abysmal. You've gotta be borderline starving, extremely broke, or have bad taste to actually enjoy this place. The best thing you can do for yourself is to drive past it. Subpar service. Below the bar food.

I ordered the teriyaki chicken with lo mein and a cat fish plate with fries. The chicken was basically Tyson chicken strips with a super light layer of teriyaki sauce and the lo mein was like eating pasta smothered in grease. The fries were soggy and soft, and the catfish tasted artificial and not fresh; it was literally reheated in an oven rather than fried. I ate a few bites and then threw it in the trash. If I wanted to eat reheated food I could have stayed at home.
