I was and will always be a JJ fan. But I had a bad experience yesterday with Kyle at the Perkins Road location. He was short and rude while taking my order. And when I asked him about it, he said "Do you want the sandwich or your money back?" I was taken aback and felt embarrassed. He pressed on and said "well, whats it going to be? I cant just stand here waiting!" At first, I thought he was joking. Even the sandwich maker thought he was joking. I asked to see the manager and he said he was the manger and he was the owner. The person was about 30 years old and if he was the owner, he should not treat customers so harsh.
I walked out of the store and immediately called another location. The person at the other store was extremely nice and said that Kyle Wilkinson is a minority owner and that his father Bruce is the majority. She also gave me the phone number to JJ headquarters in Champagne. I called and voiced my concern. JJ said they will investigate and resolve the issue. I am appreciative that JJ cares enough about customers who've had a bad experience at one of their franchise locations.
As for the Perkins Road location, I hope the Kyle better understands that customers are buying sandwiches to get into arguments or to feel threatened. They are simply wanting to enjoy lunch. I will certainly continue to frequent JJ and ben continue my catering orders from other locations. However, I expect a response for JJ for this unprofessional behavior by...
Read moreRude and disorganized I've probably ordered a couple of dozen lettuce wraps over the last two years. Today they sent out a bun sandwich by mistake. But that's not the issue. They quickly sent out a replacement without asking for the original sandwich back. I thought that was terrific. I live on a one way street. Both drivers turned around to leave going the wrong way. I was able to flag down the first driver and warn him, but not the second. I decided to call the restaurant and thank them for the replacement and suggest they warn their drivers about the street so they don't get a ticket or have a wreck. When I got a manager on the phone he declined to give me his name. JJs has my full name, my address, and I'm in their online ordering system with payment info. I'm calling trying to help and even give a compliment and this young man won't give me his name and was condescending when I asked for it. I really like the food so that's why I'm giving them three stars instead of two. But I'm done with them for the...
Read moreIt is 1:14pm, I ordered online at 12:15pm…No sandwich. I don’t understand how this can happen, they are not cooking anything. You pay for a delivery charge, plus a tip and place the order for “soon as possible.” I called the Jimmy Johns on Perkins and she knew it was me, and casually stated, “it’s on it’s way, she has two stops before you.” To order a sandwich and recieve it an hour after the order was placed is not good business. I could have driven there, placed my order, eaten there and drove back by the time their “convenience” delivers my food. There are other options out there, and although me, personally never ordering from Jimmy Johns again, this will not put them out of business. This is pathetic! I ordered to have it delivered as a matter of convenience, that’s a big word that the Jimmy Johns’ staff may not understand. The craziest part of this is they didn’t cook anything. How could this take an hour? Good luck to anyone else purchasing this service. Give business to the companies that...
