Ms G's Tavern — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

This place was ight, it's a bar setting you look around, get the feel of the place after about a hour and people be talk hard to not when your sitting next to em, as I noticed the bartender and the woman then the woman next to her and so on and so forth shoe shoe , and ki ki ING on how there was a certain gentleman how had just walked away at the moment, as they continued to state amongst the each other like cakleing hens, that his only here for you, as I adore love and such and don't knock it at any age I waited till the hens finished cakleing and all was serine, I spoke up and stated aww so you have a crash. And the hen that I wasn't even addressing cakled up and started clucking louder then sin and said NOT YOUR CONVERSATION DUUUUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. It startled me. And in that brief moment as I was about to tell her ware she could stick her beak and talons along with other unmentionables. I piecefully just claimed down collected myself and said oh excuse me for over hereing the person next to me having a crush that I just so happen to addore I was under the impression that Mrs g was a friendly environment suitable for all then continued to say WELL YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! next time if there is a next time I go to Mrs g tavern I'll be sure to stop myself at the door, and then go immediately to bayou billiard right next...

Absolutely my favorite Bar. Mrs G is a fantastic and welcoming owner. Bartenders have changed but always polite and ontop of service. Very local bar, mostly regulars but be respectful and friendly will be reciprocated. Shuffle board table is pretty nice. I love the drink tokes that are bought( encourage people to buy each other drinks). +- can't smoke...

i wouldnt recomend this place at all. i walked in order ice water holding a five dollor bill then asked where the restroom was at and the bar tender look at me with a look of discuse and told me thats all we only let costumers use the restroom i told her well you just lost one paying costumer just now i wouldnt have anyone come in this place just to be...
