while waiting for our lane to open i decided to order drinks and TWO orders of celery from the bar the original bartender never acknowledged me after i was standing there for about 15mins i was being ignored so much so that a manager saw me when he left to get change and when he came back a while after he apologized to me because he’d realized i’d be standing there a long time without being checked in with. So with this manager i ordered two lemon drops and two orders of CELERY once i got my receipt he let me know that he modified the “carrots and celery” in the computer as “only celery” my lemon drops were made and he said my celery would be out in about 10mins .. firstly the lemon drops were absolutely horrible, im unsure if they were out of simple syrup or what but he literally gave me two glasses of spicy lemon juice . I gave them away to someone and came back to order something else he recommended the pineapple punch which was great . i ended up watching my friends play one of the games that’s on the side of the bar until i got a little hungry and realized i never received my celery .. the manager was gone and it was only the bartender who never acknowledged me and a bar back who was a woman so again i stood for a good while until i was acknowledged even though the bar was NOT as packed as it was the first time. He finally got around to getting to me and almost didn’t even allow me to explain what i was waiting for he just said “the kitchens backed up so it’s gonna be a while” which pretty much pissed me off because it was now 9:45 and i’d ordered the celery at 8:51 so i’d be waiting for CELERY alone for almost an hour . So i asked the bar back to go and get a manager the same manager who made me drinks didn’t come a different one did. He was sweet and offered me free wings with my celery i agreed and he made sure he brought them to me personally. I checked the box and the wings were cold and small and i still received carrots and celery instead of double celery so in reality the problem was not solved because i still did not get what i paid for and at that point i was over it and did not feel like calling him again. Long story short i know kitchens get busy, backed up etc. but there is just absolutely NO excuse why i should have been waiting for CELERY for an hour . Read moreWe reserved two bays side by side yesterday for my son's 9th bday. We had a party of 4 adults and 7 kids. Our server JB was absolutely wonderful! So let me reiterate this negative review has nothing to do with our service from him. HOWEVER, at the end of the remaining time, I took my youngest son to bathroom to change him and my husband took our other son to the bathroom . My niece and her fiance were at the table with the rest of kids . Before going to the bathroom I had taken out my Summer Fridays lip gloss and placed it on one of the tables . And accidentally forgot it there . When i came back to the table , i guess they had another party coming to our bay and had hurried up and wiped the tables down . My lipgloss was gone. I then called JB back to table and told him . He asked the two female servers who cleared off our table who told me they didn't see anything . I was going to let it go , until i walked downstairs and my niece pointed out someone and said she took it. Your lipgloss was underneath one of the menus and she put it in pocket . i asked my niece again if she was positive and she said absolutely. I then went back upstairs and spoke with the manager Adam who was there and informed him of what happened and that my niece saw his employee HANNAH steal my lipgloss off the table. I then went up the server and asked her if she had it and just to give it back and that would be the end. She told me she didn't have it, that she saw it on the table but didnt know where it went. Which was odd bc initially she said she didnt see anything. We were in Bays 211 and 212 upstairs from 11:30-1:30pm on 11/16 yesterday. I would like the cameras looked at, so that you all can aware of what thiefs and dishonest people work for your company. We literally spent almost $500 there yesterday so the $30 lip gloss was nothing. It's the PRINCIPLE of it all! Don't take anything thats not yours. Read moreThis Topgolf location is brand new (opened in January 2019) and based on my experiences I believe they are going through some growing pains. This is not the first Topgolf I have visited, and believe Topgolf does a great job creating a fun and enjoyable experience for even the non-golfer. The various games can cater to any skill level. And time seems to fly by when playing. With that said, just about every staff member I interacted with at this location has been friendly. The TVs in the bar areas are large, bright, and easy to watch a game on, but the audio is difficult to hear over the loud environment. During peak times a payment is required to reserve a bay in advance, which is not applied to your final bill and seems like an unnecessary money grab by Topgolf. This encourages walk-ins and long wait times with estimates that are wildly inaccurate. My quoted wait time has been off by 2+ hours on multiple occasions and another time was told a bay was just about ready, but still took another 40 minutes. And good luck trying to reach someone by phone during peak hours, as you will most likely get a recording saying all associates are busy and to call back later. Only to discover this is not accurate when you walk in and find 6+ people standing around behind the Guest Services desk. As for the food, I have not had any food item or drink yet that I desire to have again making the food average at best, while the drinks seem watered down unable to taste any alcohol, leaving me feeling it is all overpriced. The advertised climate controlled bays is also misleading, as you share heaters with the bay next to you. On my last visit we experienced Goldilocks and the Three Bears with the bay next to us as they were too hot and we were cold (it was 48 degrees out) and argued over the temperature setting. It does get pretty warm directly under the heater but a foot either direction and the temperature drops off.
