My name is Roger. I Took my wife and daughter to Texas Roadhouse tonight and while eating her salad my daughter gets a look on her face and removes a 1 inch piece of glass from her mouth. It looked like it was chipped off of a salad bowl but her salad bowl had no damage. We showed the glass to our waiter Brian and he asked if we wanted another salad. We declined. Brian took the salad away and said he would get the manager. A few minutes later Mgr April came by unaware of our issue and asked how everything was going. My wife explained our experience and April asked my daughter if she would like another salad or maybe something different and she declined. She said she would go into the kitchen and yell at them. I’m sorry but April does not look like the yelling type. Any way at the end of the meal my wife and asked if you did Military discounts and Brian advised that you did (Thank You) when he returned I reviewed the bill and saw no discount for the 1 inch shard of glass that my daughter unknowingly placed in her mouth. He said if she was harmed by it we could fill out an incident report. I ask for a Mgr and April returned with a receipt that had the military discount but when I asked about at least taking one of the alcoholic drinks or something off of the bill she advised that she was not allowed to take anything off of the bill. She offered something of equal value to the salad my daughter at this point did not want anything and was ready to go. My wife said she would take the strawberry cheesecake that was offered. Brian delivers the Strawberry Cheese cake and leaves as we gather our things to leave I open the STRAWBERRY cheese cake and guess what’s missing? Yeah Strawberries so we flag down Brian who was great and I show him the box and he apologizes and leaves to get strawberries. Well he comes back and advises me that you were out of Strawberries. At this point all my family could do was laugh. No one said we are out of strawberries would you like something else? It was more like here give this to him and let’s hope he doesn’t open it until he gets home. You ever eat Plain cheesecake? Neither have I. You guys failed Big Time on 01/05/24. An I purchased $600 in gift cards from Kody before Christmas. That won’t be happening again. This could have been such a simple fix. I was not asking for a free or half off meal. Read morewe had a horrible experience there ! it is sad that such a good restaurant is run by ignorant and arrogant kids , we arrived at 8:40 with my family we had our reservation we got called just to say that because our party was for 8 people we needed to wait another 45 minutes, the place was not full at all , there was available tables , after 20 minutes of wait I approached the host and ask if it was possible to get seated on a large table on the back that I pointed since the people that were eating there just left , one of the hosts just look at me and turn around like if I was not there , the other one responded to me very rude " that area is closed " and I ask if that area was opening again ? and just she responded again " it's closed its closed! and grabbed her head saying things with a very rude tone like if she didn't had any sense of customer service , 5 minutes later we finally got seated and to my surprise we couldn't fit on the table, it was my daughter's birthday she is 7 and it's her favorite restaurant, so we went there to celebrate her and have a good time and we end up having a horrible night without mentioning that my daughter's celebration got ruined by there attitude and poor customer service, after we toll the person that was sitting us on that table we asked for a table that we could all fit and eat , there was a big table empty in front of us and I asked again if we could get seated on that one and she said " no those are 2 separate tables and we cannot put them together " after going back and forward with excuses she told us that we needed to wait anothe 45 minutes then , we go back to the deck and for my surprise that table that we suggested the first time was occupied with 8 people and I was told that it was closed , we got zero emphaty from them , we were so frustrated it'snot like we were begging to eat for free , we felt played and humiliated, by that time there was not other restaurant open that we could get there on time, we ended up getting seated around 10:00 I think our steak was dry and overcooked, and kids steak was salty , we didn't got the chance to sing happy birthday since we were basically the only ones left there , horrible experience, bad customer service, so sad that such a good restaurant let their employees treat customers as...
Read moreI ordered food at 8:30p, here it is 10p and I’m still waiting. When I did receive food, it looked like slop! I asked for a refund and have been given the runaround about my money. I asked for the manager repeatedly while waiting in the To-Go area and one refused to come out. It wasn’t until I went inside that one came out. Upon entering the building, I wasn’t greeted by either or the three girls at the hostess stand bc they were to busy talking to an off the clock employee. After 5 minutes, one looked and said “oh how can I help you?” I said give the manager and no one moved. It was the off duty employee that said get the manager. One chic came out looking confused & dumb. Then Casey ( I think that’s her name) came out very nonchalant and asked was my food taking to long. I said no, I’m not eating slop! What I was served was horrible & I want a refund. She said that’s not possible and then went on to ask why again. Lady, I don’t live here and I want to leave. Give me money! She began to roll her neck and say I’ll refund the card. Lady, I don’t care how you refund it. GET IT DONE NOW! She walked off mumbling and then came back and said “here”. This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered BS from her. I’m allergic to mushrooms and made it clear. When I got my steak (again doing a Togo order) & checked it when I got back to work, I noticed it was covered in mushrooms. When I called, she said I would need to return the steak. I said fine, I don’t get off until 7:30. She said that would be a problem bc they won’t refund me after waiting so long. I said I made it clear I’m allergic and she asked why didn’t I check it before I left. My receipt said no mushrooms but yet it wasn’t honored. I fed it to the homeless guy by my job. When contacting corporate about the issue you at hand, nothing was done. Not even an apology. As if the roach in Kevin’s salad wasn’t enough, the attitude & lack of care for the customers has really pushed me over the time edge. The restaurant needs to be cleaned.
