My experience at this Waffle House this morning was horrible. We arrived there at about 2:15am we were excited to go in and find that at this time of morning on a Saturday there was no one in there and we would be the first. We get in get greated and have a seat. About 5 minutes another group of people came in. Our waitress then took our order which was 2 alstars one with scrambled eggs and the other with pochued eggs. Our waitress "Natasha" proceeded to take the other customers orders needless to say the 4 people that came infront of us got their drinks and 5 minutes later received their food. We who ordered only water never got our water until about 10-15 later when we asked another waitress to give us some water. The waitress looking at us making eye contact with us has not acknowledge the fact that she hasn't attended to us. We spoke to the night manager don't remember her name but didn't do anything about situation but say that we're working on your pouched eggs because we didn't have the specific spoon for it.. it wasn't until 10 minutes after the people who came in left that we received our food.. After Natasha brought us our food she proceeded to put the ticket on top of our food so I removed the ticket and placed it on the napkin holder and it flew on the floor. Natasha yelled and cussed acrossed the restaurant because we had complaints about her service the manager did nothing natasha was rude classless and disrestful.. Natasha needs to work on her etiquette Customer service and mannerism she was...
Read moreLet me start by saying,"I love Waffle House." I have eaten at Waffle Houses north to south, coast to coast over several decades. From their consistently tasty patty melt to scattered, smothered, covered 'brown's, I love Waffle House. That being said, this was the the second worst experience I have had at WH. After sitting and watching multiple people be waited on after my arrival(seated, orders taken, food delivered, bills paid) for about 15 minutes, I asked a server if anyone was working my section. The "waitress" responded aggressively telling me,"People was in front of you". I thanked her and continued to wait with my family. A little later she proceeded to try and put our napkins and silverware into the sticky syrup still on the countertop. When I asked her to please get a rag, she once again responded with a hostile mumbled response. She walked over to another employee, motioned to me and my family and made an overtly hostile face. I stood up, gathered my children, thanked this openly "friendly" server, and left. It's been awhile since I have been out and about in Baton Rouge. I guess I will blame it on Putin.....
Update 5-25-22 The store reached out to me for "details" and asked for contact information. I guess I appreciate "the effort", but after my hostile experience at this particular establishment, it seems foolish to give them personal info. They don't need to worry, my family and I will not inconvenience them with our...
Read moreStopped in today to get an early dinner. Walk into the filthy restaurant and see one side of the restaurant taped off with caution tape to keep people out of that area. The 3 tables that were available hadn't been washed in hours. There were 2 employees playing on their phones. One gets up and says they're only doing to-go orders. There's no signage up saying this. My friends and I exit the building and return to my vehicle. Once we get seat belts on, the other employee realizes they maybe shouldn't have told us that and the first employee stands at the window and waves at us to come inside. No thanks, I know filth when I see it and if the tables and floors were that dirty, I can only imagine what the grill was like. I'm not interested in food poisoning. Maybe less time on the phones and more time cleaning would have been a better idea. There were no customers at all anywhere near the store so it's not like they were busy. I prefer that my food not be cooked in...
