I’ve been a card game player since Pokémon debuted and leagues were held at Books-A-Million. Never before have I felt welcomed by people and part of a community the way I have at Rogue Games. There is a very important point I want to make and that is how important it is to support your local game store. This place in particular is amazing. I have traveled the country with close friends I met at this shop for the past couple of years, competing in Pokémon. I have drafted the latest sets of Magic: the Gathering and even done chaos drafts, and enjoyed competing in Pioneer events, as well as Modern. I have partaken in many card games I never would have had I never set foot into this shop. I have also spent many hours playing friendly games of Commander. Please remember to keep these guys in mind whenever you want to fulfill your gaming needs. They are awesome people that go above and beyond for the community and usually aren’t driving home in Ferrari’s. Please support your local gaming store, words alone cannot express how truly...
Read moreCame here for a dragonball super cross worlds release tournament with a 10 dollar buy in. Event post on fb didn't mention prize support. I was under assumption it was going to give out either tourney packs or cross world packs for top cut like other local shops. After placing in top cut I got nothing more than a stamped packet and nothing more. Rouge refused to put up more support. Keep in mind that they receive free tourney kits from bandai. In conclusion rouge games gave out the bare minimal, charged a high price, kept the remaining packs of the tourney to profit even more instead of putting it in the prize pool. They also had no dbz or yugioh in stock. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Local players look out for shady business practices alot of other shops put out equal amount of prizes depending on prize pool. I will not return to rouge games and will make sure nobody I...
Read moreThe boyfriend and I were visiting family from out of town and I wanted to introduce him to the Community Coffeehouse in the parking lot. On that note, I think this place is really well located. It's in a place that's easy to reach and (usually) has a decent amount of parking.
The staff was not only friendly, but helpful in answering questions about card sleeves and Magic: The Gathering. They didn't have a lot of stock, but we visited not long after they had opened and they had the staples: prepackaged board games, booster packs, card sleeves, mats, etc. Enough to get a player started. I was looking for the Unhinged packs for Magic, and the shop owner was friendly enough to trade the full-art lands with me to get the swamp I wanted. I fully intend on visiting again the next time...
