I have been a customer of POBOY EXPRESS for many many years, probably 20+ to be exact...In the past it was SUCH a good Poboy for the $$...Lots of meat, great price point at right at 10 bucks for the grilled chicken poboy meal deal... NOW, not so much, not only have they raised the price by 50% to almost 16 bucks for a meal but WOW, they may give you 1/4 of the meat on a poboy on top of that....It's sad, I used to love this place, but they have LOST my business.... I've never seen chicken cut this thin for 16 bucks for a half grilled chicken poboy and basically ALL LETTUCE.... And I'm not the first person to say this...Even when I complained about it they just said sorry, I was shocked they wouldnt even give me anymore meat....Way to GO POBOY EXPRESS, looks like you are following the Burger King guide to Bankruptcy....LESS FOOD and MORE MONEY!! Your run won't last long like this!!

Whenever I'm in the area and craving delicious food, I always go to this place. They make the food fresh when you order it. I usually get the shrimp Philly and fried okra, but today I tried the fries and they were perfectly seasoned. I never eat in at restaurants, so I can't comment on that experience.

I have been going to Po-Boy Express on Sharp and Cedarcrest for many years. The people were always friendly and went out of their way to serve you. Their food was always the best. That has significantly changed and I do mot have a reason for this. On at least 2 occasions I asked for my fries to be lightly seasoned of which they were seasoned just like they would normally be seasoned. The last Sandwich looked like someone had just thrown some stuff on bread so that they could back to their phone plus the lettuce was brown and even after I scraped the nasty lettuce and tomato off of it I still had some stomach issues. NEVER is all of these years have I EVER experienced this at any of the POBOY Expresses in Baton Rouge. Management and Ownership probably need to do a reality check and realize what is now being served when management and ownership is not around. When the Cat is away the mice will play. I have enjoyed Poboy Express for many years plus it is close to my home and easy to get to. Poboy Express needs to get back to the quality of food and personnel which made them trusted and loved in the community. I now drive twice as far to purchase the things that I used to purchase at Poboy Express who don’t seem to care or stopped trying anymore. Good Luck in the future and remember to check your order because you may not be getting what...

This was my first time ordering a poboy and having to open the bread to make sure I had meat. Usually when you pay over $10 for a sandwich you would assume they would give a decent amount of whatever you selected.. be it shrimp, oysters or whatever have you. Well I chose to get a oyster poboy..not only was it skimpy, but they were very small.. I had more lettuce than anything on my sandwich.. had I known I would be paying $10.95 for lettuce and bread..I would’ve just went out to eat somewhere. Unfortunately I didn’t check the food before I left.. being that it was to go & I was rushing..Mind you $10.95 was only for the sandwich; not a drink or fries included. I don’t mind paying more for my food but at least give me what I’m paying for. Very...
