Whataburger — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

On Monday February 21st around 10:30pm my husband and I came through the drive thru in the 2nd lane and ordered a Patty Melt meal and small onion ring. The first lane was moving pretty well but the 2nd land was taking much longer. When we finally got to order we were told to move up some, so we did. WE SAT THERE FOR OVER 20 MINUTES!!!!! meanwhile at least 5 cars in the first lane got their food and so did the car behind us. We only ordered 1 meal and some onion rings! When the girl brought the order out to the car behind us my husband asked her what was going on and she very rudely said "I have no idea" and just walked off. After that I yelled across to the drive-thru window to the other girl to send out her manager. After speaking with the manager he also didn't really know what was going on and as soon as he was about to walk back into the store they finally came out with our order. Upon inspecting to make sure everything was in the bag our food was barely lukewarm so obviously it was sitting out for quite some time. I know this is a new location but perhaps maybe that whole night crew needs to be retrained on how to run a drive-thru, especially at busy times because this was totally...

I live in New Orleans so I passed here with my Mama and daughter this past Tuesday to grab some lunch as we were in Baton Rouge for a while. Somewhere between 10:50 and 11:50 a.m. We went in. The young man at the front counter was one of the most patient, kind and helpful people I’ve ever met in my entire life! I’m bariatric, and I recently had surgery, so I had a LOT of particulars in my order, from needing my lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and mayonnaise on the side, to the way I needed my patty melt and fries prepared. Let’s just say, you would think their slogan is “you can have it your way”,!!!!!!! He walked my order to the person preparing it to explain, it didn’t even take long for our entire order to be ready and it was hot, fresh, and as complex as my order was, NOT A MISTAKE IN SIGHT! Thank you to the staff at this location for not just a wonderful meal, but for the most wonderful service!!!!!! Every time I’m in Baton Rouge I will ONLY ever visit this location! And I pay attention to everything and I can be extremely hard to please, so this being nothing less than a perfect review is very telling! I can’t say...

If you decide to go into the lobby late at night, make sure you order immediately unless you want to be removed by security. My ten or so friends and I entered late at night after a fun time out together. While we were all looking over the menu, a voice behind me very rudely said to "step up and order." I turned and said to the gentleman that I wasn't sure what I wanted just yet, but I was getting there. He then escalated the situation saying something along the lines of, "do I need to take you outside?" I was baffled. We were all extremely confused. He chose to lead me outside and I walked to my vehicle and regrouped with my friends. He claimed to have known me to be a troublemaker before, however I've never been to this location. Nothing anyone said to him could convince him otherwise. We gladly spent our money elsewhere. I might recommend Whataburger seek security who aren't looking for an excuse to feel powerful.
