Great place for fresh, quality, build your own poké bowls, and sushi burritos. It also offers ramen, as well as artisan desserts. The large menu can be overwhelming on your first visit, but to me, that means there is something for everyone. Here are some things to drill down your selection. Seen are the f-bomb burrito, and a custom poké bowl. The f-bomb was a menu item burrito which had tuna, salmon, cucumber, red onion, cilantro, wasabi aoli, and wonton strips. Next time I may add some soy sauce, to elevate the salt level for my liking. Some like more of a pure taste, and I respect that. The wonton strips added a crunchy texture that I really liked. The poké bowl foundation (starts with your first option) was rice, at my request, but I may go with the lettuce option next time. The rice can be very filling, and I tried the ponzu sauce on it, but the ponzu's thin consistency got lost in the bowl. It needed one of the thicker sauces I'll talk about in the next paragraph. The Asian vinaigrette was thick and sweet, as well as slightly tangy, with citrus notes. It is a top choice. The Unagi sauce was thick and sweet, with soy notes. The creamy cilantro and wasabi dressings could have used a little more salt, in my opinion, but don't get it twisted, they were good as is. I tried the mochi ice cream. It was a brownie with ice cream topping. The brownie was restaurant quality. Not cookie cutter box style. The brownie had a thin flaky shell, and the core was perfectly rich and smooth, with a hearty sweet chocolate flavor. The ice cream was great quality dutch chocolate, and was nestled in a tapioca based capsule. The chocolate sauce drizzled on top was very good as well. I heard the key lime pie was also a good choice, and I'll try that next time. Also next time, I will be trying the poké bake, which is torched, and ramen.

Poke: I got the build your own poke bowl. It was $13.95 for regular size, about same price as most. I got the vegetable base and I noticed it was not as much base as normal. Serving size is on the small size, compared to Southfin. Ramen: I went back and got the star of the show ramen. It was $13.95, but it tasted like the instant ramen from Rouses. I wonder if they got it there. The soup tasted like soy sauce and water; it was too salty to drink. The eggs were overcooked. If you want instant ramen quality for the price of a Jinya bowl, then get this.

I decided that today I was going to try something new for once and stepped out of my comfort zone. The manager Gabriella and her worker today were awesome in directing me For what I should get. I walked in knowing I wanted to get a burrito for the first time and they told me to get the hook up. They were so sweet and easy to talk to, and I had fun joking with them. Now for the best part, The burrito was only like 12 bucks 14 after tax and my God was an amazing and filling. Definitely Worth every penny. Y’all are doing something right over there!!!!

Gotta say, this place is a treat- glad it opened up right after I moved nearby!

Although I can't speak for the sushi burritos (yet), I highly enjoy the Poke Bowls, and the ramen is good too!

I've tried Southfin and Finbomb to compare their poke (when you mention one, someone brings up the other) and I really prefer Finbomb's! The sushi rice makes for a great texture with the poke, and I think that 5 scoops vs 3 makes for a more appetizing large bowl. Most people claim that the serving size as Southfin is larger, but I really didn't notice that much of a difference!

The ramen is also good, but with a little nuance, hence the four stars. The tonkotsu/white broth is super good on the ramen! And getting the custom bowl for ~$10, you can have a perfectly fine bowl of ramen (it's obviously not going to be the craziest one ever but still good!) However, the soy broth is just not that great. I don't have much experience with soy broth ramen, but as other people have mentioned, it's kinda just too much here! You can't drink the broth by itself, and that's one of the bigger parts of enjoying ramen. I think if you get the white broth you'll really like it, whereas the soy broth will leave you wanting more.

Again, if you're thinking about going- do so! I think you'll wind up very please! I'm mainly just not into the soy broth, which could use some work: everything else is pretty great for a good...

Finbomb is "THE BOMB"!! I love this place! I eat there 2-3 times a week when I'm in town. I typically create my own bowl. I love the purple rice option.Try the purple rice in your bowl! Their meats, seafood and other proteins are always fresh and delicious. Same goes for the vegetables and other toppings. While I like the bowls, they have awesome ramen choices too. I've heard the burritos are also really good. They even have Miso soup and egg rolls!!! I love those as well. The egg roll dipping sauce - WOW!!

Furthermore - craving a drink? Well, they have you covered with various beers, wines and sake choices. Margaritas too. Sometimes I just sip on a drink, use the wireless and watch a game on TV. When I get hungry, I order a bowl. One time I ate three meals there in one day!

Finbomb is also in a great location. It's close to the LSU campus and right next door to a Rouse's grocery store. There's also several other food options and merchants in the very same area.

Finally - and what's most important to me - the great service and staff. Every single team member is always super polite, friendly and helpful. Even if it's your first time - don't worry - they will gladly guide you through the menu and help you make the right choice. Once you try Finbomb, you will be back over and over...
