Wings n things — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

I don't write many reviews, but their great service convinced me. TLDR; Great ordering experience, Food packaged very well, and food was top quality, will definitely be back!

Detailed----- Ordering: Went in and ordered a shrimp poboy and asked for them to toss the shrimp in mango habanero and despite this being the first time someone asked for this (Was mentioned as I ordered) it was handled excellently. Food: Got exactly what I wanted despite not being on the menu or something they've done before. Poboy bread was proper new orleans style french bread (god its annoying when places use bread thats more like a hoagie bread for "poboys" than a new orleans style poboy bread), shrimp fried perfectly, and everything nice wrapped up and fresh. Fries were solid and seasoned with a tony's esque (might just be tony's) seasoning that I liked. Takeout: ordering - walking out the door with food took less than 15 mins, excellent. Location: Place was spotless with a nice simple well planned out space.

Come on now. Wings and Things! Every town needs one of these and you know why. Some days you just gonna want to have some hood wings with some cheese fries and it will be the thing to hit the spot. This place totally represents that feel to it and I love every bit of it because its in a good place in town where you dont have to worry about anything. This place has mobile pay with is convenient for most of us trying to go with the time that pays with phone. They are good with time and you know the tv is always set to something sports on. I’ve ordered wings from this location on two separate occasions and on my Third visit I attempted to place an order and with my total I asked for a military discount (which was applied for both visits ) the “manager “ was incredibly rude and unprofessional when I questioned the discrepancy and he proceeded to tell me “I’ve paid my taxes and I don’t offer discounts” and I responded “if that were true why was I able to do so on Recent visits” he responded “well do you want the food or not” I of course Did not ...the wings are not tasty enough for his audacious and unpleasant attitude and I will be spending my...
