I normally don’t leave bad reviews even if a place is not good but I just have to say this was probably the worse place i’ve been in a while!! I should’ve walked out when we walked to counter and the guy at counter didn’t even know what a menu item was and the fact that there was a bug flying around his face that didn’t even bother him. We ordered a seafood platter because that was the only thing on the menu that they could tell us about... it came with a salad which they handed us at the counter in a plastic bowl thing covered with saran wrap.. with a small container of dressing. they hand you everything at counter including your number sign and you have to carry all of this in your hands to your table.. they don’t have treys to put it all on! So we go to table go fix our drinks and sit and wait.. they bring one plate out and it was wrong.. they bring other out and it was wrong.. wait for them to bring it out again.. they bring them out and they were correct. The fried fish was idk what it was when you pulled the thin crust back it literally looked like jelly texture.. needless to say we didn’t eat it.. the salads were horrible we didn’t eat them either.. the fried crawfish was hard couldn’t eat it.. the fried shrimp was not shrimp idk what it was... my baked potato was not done and either the butter or the sour cream was rotten.. my husbands potatoes and stuff he got was horrible.. so we got up and left.. besides the food there were these little bugs flying around everywhere.. just horrible place!!! I’ve wondered why there’s hardly any cars there now I know... I don’t even give it a one star just had to choose to be able to...
Read morePassing through Easter Sunday looking for something Open. Should have gone to the Whatabuger nextdoor instead. Would have been Much Happier. First, we stood at the counter for several minutes before the cashier ever acknowledge we we there & ready to order. Oredered a Philly w/ Fries, Chopped Beef Potato (toppings on side), side salad (Blue Cheese), and Fried Mushrooms. Fried Mushrooms were best of the group but overly Salty. Fries I would order again. Side salad had over a tablespoon of water in the bottom of the bowl. (Side salad!!). Philly was heavy on Mayo, light on cheese, they forgot the Onion and no Bell Pepper. Agreed, menue did not mention Green Pepper but in my opinion, it should have peppers. Bake Potato was a little under cooked but not bad. Typical toppings on the side - OK. Chopped Beef also came in a cardboard cup in a gloppy sweet sauce. Beef was decent & tender. Was not real impressed with the sauce. Texture was strange... syrupy. Too sweet for my preference. Asked Casheir 3 times what pies were in the Case & 3 times ahe muttered something in a Whisper, we never understood. Restraunt was Clean & and the Head Cook was pleasant & accommodating when I went back for the missing onions. For $35 & 2 meals, I would have been happier paying that next door at Whatabuger or down the...
Read moreI rate it one star because zero isn’t an option. They are rude and the food is fair. When you pick up food to carry out, don’t plan on anything being right, packaged well, or having what you need. They also charge too much for every thing that is added. I am happy to pay for what I get, but I paid $7.50 for small tots with cheese. I ordered regular tots, their smallest size, with cheese. They charged $3.50 for the tots and $4 for the “queso” that was a tiny watered down Rico’s container. I didn’t order queso, I asked for shredded cheddar on them. My salad was hot with the grilled chicken in it in the to-go box and then packed in the bag between 2 hot meals. It was cooked, but since they included no salad dressing, even though I ordered extra, I couldn’t eat it anyway. The other meals in my order were also wrong. It happens more often than not. It used to be so good, so we try it again every now and then, but we’re always disappointed. I called about my order and they were not at all helpful. They offered me a $20 credit for my next order. I paid $70 for 2 meals that were all wrong. Don’t worry about...
