Starbucks — Restaurant in Bay Minette

came in as a group of three twice in one week. both times I ordered a vanilla macchiato with coconut milk, the first time it was made perfectly and tasted delicious and didn't make me sick. the second time however, they did NOT make a vanilla macchiato. it was a caramel macchiato and YES I'm aware that a vanilla has caramel drizzle as well BUT there was NO VANILLA SYRUP in the drink. AND to make it worse, they did NOT put coconut milk in it. it was a regular milk and so I ended up having a reaction to it. the first time I got it there it was vanilla syrup, coffee, caramel drizzle, and coconut milk. it was perfect and exactly what I wanted. but the second time I got coffee, Carmel drizzle, and regular milk. and somewhere along the way while making this drink, crunchy bits like you'd get in a frap ended up in my drink. I have no idea what drink it was supposed to be but it wasn't mine. whenever I brought it back up to the counter "Destiny" had a very unpleasant look on her face as she tried to gaslight me into thinking she made me the correct drink when I can now VERIFY THROUGH ILLNESS that she did not! they tried to explain it back to me and my mother in a way that made us seem stupid but having gotten this drink once and it been perfect and to have it be bitter, crunchy, and not the right flavor AND to make me sick the second time tells me that you absolutely did not make it correctly. Upon entering the Starbucks in Atmore, AL, I was immediately greeted by the familiar aroma of freshly brewed coffee that always brings a sense of warmth and comfort. The ambiance was inviting, as always, and the staff was friendly.

I ordered the Cafe Moca, and I must say, it was the epitome of perfection in terms of taste. Rich, chocolatey with that hint of espresso - it was a delightful way to start my day. To accompany my drink, I decided to try the banana walnut and pecan loaf. Every bite was a fusion of bananas, walnuts, and pecans which danced harmoniously in a moist, nutty classic banana bread. It was a perfect companion to the Cafe Moca.

I also couldn't resist getting a slice of the iced lemon loaf. This turned out to be a decision I'm glad I made. The citrusy, buttery taste of the moist lemon pound cake complemented beautifully with the sweet icing on top. It was a burst of fresh, tangy flavors that balanced the rich tones of the Cafe Moca and banana loaf.

However, no experience is without its minor hiccups. The only issue I encountered during my visit was that the size of the Cafe Moca served to me was not what I had ordered. While it was a tad disappointing, the flavor more than made up for it.

In conclusion, the Starbucks in Atmore, AL provided an almost impeccable experience. Their range of offerings is delicious, and it's a place I'd recommend to anyone looking for quality beverages and baked goods. Stopped by on 11/3/23 to get a Danish and a venti Mocha Frappuccino. I was given the worst tasting drink I've ever received from a Starbucks. I called the store and asked for the manager, unable to recall her name. She stated that she got my info wrote down and next time I came in to let the staff know and it would be replaced. I stopped by today 12/13/23 at approx 1:10 pm and told the cashier who was rude as hell and gave me a nasty look and then turned around before going in the back and gave another nasty look. She came back out and said we don't have your info. I said I spoke with the manager and she had this look of youre really going to make me work type attitude. She went and got the manager. She said that she never approved it and I asked if they could still remake my drink and she curtly said no and that without a receipt from a month and a half ago that she wouldn't do it. The manager was rude as well upon asking for corporates number and she refused to give it to me. Beware of this store, they are all rude and act entitled.
