Came to this place kind of randomly. My husband picked it because they had breakfast later in the day. First off the staff was nice but it took a long time just to get drinks, and then our waitress never came back to the table. The other waitress brought our food never brought the coffee refill she offered and then we payed and left. They don’t have a single highchair in the cafe so my two year old was under the table after waiting for over 30 minutes to get food. That food consisted of pancakes and one sandwich with chips. Nothing special about any of it. It didn’t taste horrible and it wasn’t the best food we’ve had just pancakes and a sandwich. On top of all that it was like someone switched off the AC after we finally got our food and I ended up so hot that I didn’t even want most of my pancakes. My daughter’s face started to turn bright pink and she barely ate anything despite signing to me several times that she was hungry. I myself being 36 weeks pregnant barely ate anything and hadn’t had anything to eat that day. My legs were so sweaty on the chair when I got up that I felt like I needed a towel. I don’t understand why locals come back here. Their bathroom sign literally said free sauna like it’s funny that we are all sweating while using the bathroom and eating our food. It also wasn’t cheep you paid almost three dollars for two eggs on the side. Two eggs….. We won’t be back and after the experience I don’t understand why anyone...

We saw the sign on Hwy. 90 and decided to stop after quickly going online and looking at the reviews. I had a breakfast and bean soup. Bean soup was a little salt for me but it was very tasty and just spicy enough. My wife placed a special order because of dietary needs and they had no problem with the order. My son and his wife ordered sandwiches and their plate was wiped clean in the end. I ended the meal with a perfect bread pudding dessert. It finished the meal perfectly. I would recommend this place to eat. The price was reasonable as well. Just for information they serve only breakfast and lunch and as far as I know they...

Good food, friendly service, great value in a cozy setting. Thought I'd give Sunrise Cafe a chance about a month ago and just recently went again. Both visits were positive all the way around. I had the Philly Omelet on my first visit - claim is in the name - very tasty! On my second visit I had the Corn beef hash, which was OK, but less impressive than the Philly Omelet in my opinion. I prefer a hardier homemade version vs hash that looks similar to Hormel from a can. My wife had the Patty Melt and said it as good as any she'd ever had! Overall - nice spot, good value, tasty food with...

The one of the best place to have break fast and cup of fresh coffee. Ambience - I felt like having cup of coffee near beach. It’s themed with coolest paintings and painted the walls with ocean waves. The small and cutest restaurant to have a cup of coffee. Service - The service is really appreciated. They’re doing fantastic job. Very professionally. Food - I ordered cup of black coffee and build your own omelette with veggies, no meat with hash browns. Really tastes the best and really good portion of break fast. A good place to have morning coffee with break fast.

It’s a small, family-run restaurant. I had the Western Omelette for breakfast—it was $9.45 (as of April 2025)—and a coffee for $1.50. The omelette was good! I just wish it were a bit bigger. The staff is genuinely friendly and very attentive. Even though it was somewhat busy, they were quick with the service. I don’t live in the area, but if I did, I think I’d be a regular. It’s a small place, but it has charm and a welcoming vibe.

Was in the area for work and found this place on google the croissant bacon eggs and cheese was delicious very soft buttery and flaky and the grits were absolutely delicious I think next time I will be trying the biscuits and gravy as I over heard another customer saying how good they were. Thank y’all for a great experience.
