Bambú Burger — Restaurant in Bayamón

I stopped in here for lunch. A burger sounded like a great idea. With the recommendation from the local dive shop. I had to stop. The open-air layout is very nice and welcoming. The staff greats you as soon as you walk in. They take care of you with good frequency. I ordered a Rey Burger, Lettuce, tomato cheese that comes with fries. The burger took a bit to arrive, which was perfectly fine. As the burger was far from a frozen disappointment but a delight to eat. With the smaller bun, the burger was a slight challenge to eat. It was extremely juicy and like stated a joy to eat with the right amount of mess that requires napkin after napkin. The way i believe a good burger should be. The fries fit it well with the burger. This was a great lunch. This is also a place where I will be returning to in the near future. I've returned sooner then expected. 2 days later. I had the sandwich berger and fries with matching quality as the 1st. This time I added on queso frito. This was a very enjoyable appetizer. My family and I have been coming here for years, but the service and quality of food has significantly declined.

The employees ignored us and had us waiting to place our order for nearly an hour with just one other table being there. A total disaster. The only reason we stayed is because the manager apologized after we asked for the check.

When we placed the order, it took another hour just for the food to come out and the food was served on broken plates lol.

Can't emphasize how bad and lazy the waitresses were. One of them was talking to the boyfriend on facetime and was bothered when i asked her for a box to take my food to go. A total DISASTER.

So sad because it used to be such a good restaurant and we looked forward to it every time we came from New York, but we will not be stepping foot in this...

Went for a carry out, so I can only talk about the food. Got the Argentine burger and a burger with shrimp on top. Both delicious, but I would have preferred the fries to have some seasoning. The place looked clean and nice. Only complaint, main entrance was mostly blocked by an SUV, had to squeeze through, they should put something to prevent that. 2nd visit, also carryout, to celebrate my daughter's return from Panamá, the whole family learned that for about the same money they would've spent at a fast food place, this is much better food made fresh and the burgers are big and tasty.
