We got breakfast from here and it was delicious! We got an arrangement of different pastries and sandwiches. My bf got the cubano and I got the jamón, queso, y huevo. We also got the avena and it was really nostalgic because I used to get that a lot when I was a kid. 10/10 would recommend this spot but make sure to come a bit early because this place is packed!

My go to place for breakfast in PR. I love the Cuban Sandwich with a delicious cup of coffee. Even when it's packed, customer service is to notch. Don't forget the Quesito!!

Wonderful bakery, with fresh delicious baked goods, such as a variety of breads, cakes, cookies , and a vast variety of pastries. They make awesome Spanish, Cuban, and Puerto Rican style sandwiches and soups. Superb coffee, a variety of beverages both non alcoholic and alcoholic (beers, sodas, juices, etc). They have different Spanish hams and charcuterie, many imported canned goods, fresh seafood salads. They even have a wine cava with a great variety of different types of wine. Recently expanded and renovated with a modern look; ample parking space, accessible ramp and parking for people with disabilities. Staff is friendly, and customer oriented. This bakarey or "panaderia" is one of the oldest bread makers in the area . It is a great place to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as just having a snack, coffee, or treat yourself to something sweet or savory. All their edible goods are fresh, of great quality, and amazingly tasteful and delicious . Food is so good that it has the tendency to get busy, however the staff has a lot of experience and service is reasonably fast and affective. They have elevated their system of servicing all to a science and an art. If you are in the metro area you ought to visit this...

The place is clean and very nice. But I ordered a ham, cheese, egg and salad sandwich. I got completely the opposite. I got a ham and cheese with salad and xtra chorizo. I at no time did I ask for chorizo. Plus the sandwich was more expensive than I had anticipated due to their menu. When I told the gentlemen at the register. His only response was that he put his finger on the wrong key. He even asked me if he took care of me. Pathetic. In the end I had to eat what I didn't ask for due to the fact that I would have to wait again for a new sandwich and I didn't have the...

I was very disappointed. Castilla used to be one of the best places to get the traditional puertrrican pastries. I ordered a Brazo Gitano , supposed to be a rolled cake filled and covered with guava jelly. It was totally disgusting. Now they are using something to substitute the cake. Some kind of waxy paste. I also ordered Pastelillos de Guayava. Not as good as they used to be. And the Quesitos are being sold for 3.50 each. When it comes to buying pastries they lost me...
