Starlyn Grill & Seafood — Restaurant in Bayamón

It's not the first time I've visited Starlyng, I liked it and decided to bring some relatives to visit. I ordered mofongo de pollo criolla sauce but I don't know what happened it was horrible. Bad, bland, and the chicken was weird, like rubber. The service is good but the food failed that day it was very disappointing. You can eat at some tables in front of the bar outside, but the usual problem is that there is a plague of flies that invades your food and is disturbing. I don't understand why Starlyn management hasn't done anything about it like fly zappers, etc. Inside, they have a room divided into two with air conditioning, but the second room, which is the photos to share, is too cold. Si usted tiene mucha hambre NO vaya a este lugar. La porción y el precio son razonables pero, tuve que esperar 50 minutos para dos platos del menú diario. En el transcurso nos bebimos 3 cervezas. Entonces, la calidad del servicio es bien pobre. Pedimos una cosa y nos sirvieron otra. Quien nos atendió dijo que "se le olvidó avisarnos que ya no quedaba lo que habíamos pedido", por eso nos sirvió lo que le dio la gana.

Ademas, le habíamos preguntado cual era el arroz favorito de los clientes y dijo que el blanco con habichuelas. Mi gente, ni una montaña de sal podía sazonar aquel arroz que para colmo era grano largo. Los chicharrones de pollo sabían a harina con comino.

Mi comida almenos no estaba tan grave, tampoco fue la mejor. Almenos la carne frita no estaba tan dura.

Todas las veces que pedi algo a alguna mesera tuve que llamarla porque nunca fueron a la mesa a preguntar si necesitaba algo. Y btw, nunca nos atendió la misma. Inclusive se equivocaron de mesa y nos llevaron unos tragos que no eran de nosotras.

Al final pasó un muchacho y le pedimos la cuenta. El se paró en nuestra mesa y nos ignoró por completo para saludar unos clientes de otra mesa. Tuvimos que repetirle que solo queriamos la cuenta y dijo "ok" y se fue a la mesa donde estaban sus conocidos.

Finalmente llega otra muchacha a traer la cuenta, le decimos que la comida no era la mejor, le damos estos mismos detalles y ella estaba super apenada. A todas estas le dijimos que sabemos que no es culpa de ella que no se preocupe pero que es importante que quien cocina sepa sobre la calidad de lo que esta sirviendo.

Pagamos y nos fuimos. La muchacha ni nos preguntó para pagar tip. No tome fotos, eso fue mala mia porque de verdad para ser un menu que hagan a diario fue lo peor que he probado en mucho tiempo. Mi amiga nisiquiera pudo comerse la comida. Le di la mitad de la mia que estaba mas...

Went on Thursday , April 25, 2024. It has a newness about it that is readily noticed. Staff very friendly but not too knowledgeable about the menu, drinks or service in general.
