Yaku Superior — Restaurant in Bayfield

You must try this restaurant. Carlos is the chef and owner and he serves dinner Saturday night at the CORE community center. He only seats a few tables per night as he wants to have a personal interaction with all his customers. He is Peruvian but has been all over and is a font of information about Peru and the ingredients in Peruvian cooking and knows quite a bit of history about Bayfield as well. It's a prix fixe menu with an appetizer, main dish and dessert. The food was delicious and we were very full and had plenty of leftovers to take with us for lunch the next day. He also sells empanadas at CORE during the day as well as down in Washburn. While the empanadas aren't on the menu, definitely get some to go.
